We ordered this spoon for my mother-in-law as part of our pregnancy announcement. She collects souvenir spoons so we thought it would be very cute idea to tie in our announcement. This spoon is large, definitely larger than a souvenir spoon, kind of wish I would have read the details better! Also, the spoon is VERY shiny. I couldn't get a good picture of it because of the reflection and it is also a bit hard to read in person. I feel like the lettering could be bolder so it would show better. Or perhaps use a different metal or something with more of a matte finish or vintage spoon may be more appropriate. I'm not sure how they took the picture with it looking so clear like that, because it didn't really look like that in person. It is a heavy weight spoon, so that part is nice. Overall, I may have went in another direction but we ran out of time before our announcement. I've attached the best pic I could take of the product. I tried from every angle in all different lighting. Also, there were a few scratch marks at the bottom of the spoon, which you can see in the photo. Oh well, it was just an announcement.

Spoon is durable but words are not completely clear.
