Perfect for hip thrusts!
Like the title says, I bought this for hip thrusts because it was a hassle using my old pad plus a garden kneeling pad to do the exercise. I’ve only gone up to 260lbs thus far and it’s more than adequate cushion for that weight. Some reviews say it doesn’t work well past 300+lbs but I can’t speak to that yet.The outer cover is very durable and there are little rubber bumps on the inside of the pad, where it touches the bar, that prevents it from rolling on the bar during use. This is a very nice touch that I wasn’t aware of before purchasing. From my experience this pad is excellent and it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this product!

Best pad for hip thrusts
I bought another pad that wasn’t thick enough and still bruised my hip bones. This one does not! It’s super thick, I don’t have any problems with hurting my hips for heavy barbell hip thrusters

Good, but not long enough.
I like this for heavy barbell lifting when the weight is all resting on my hips. It is very cushy. One thing is, I wish it was longer. It barely fits my hips and I am a petite girl. I think there was an option to order a longer one, but I got the shorter one on a recommendation. If I could go back, I would have gotten the longer option

Chunky, but great!
Let me tell you, this is a bit chunky, there is no doubt about that. So you might look silly when doing squats with this pad on.But if you are starting to put lots of weight on your hip trusts, Oh Man! this is a lifesaver!

Packaged too close to surface so be careful using a normal box cutter
The media could not be loaded. Hi, I’m Angela and I used my brother’s Amazon account to get this. It’s thick and durable and I’m excited to use it.When opening the box, there was another box inside that is literally form fit for the barbell pad. I should’ve known and thought I was being careful. But the pad was too close to where the box panels line up and are taped down. And the bag that comes with it is really flimsy and made of paper-like material. So there’s a cut in my product. That I’ve literally been excited to use and waited to purchase. But I figured that requesting for a return would just be really annoying and I’d have to wait longer for it. I already went through another a bad Amazon choice barbell pad product and return. I’m not doing it again. Especially within like the same month.

Fair price, pretty much as expected
This is exactly what I expected it to be. My girlfriend and I agree that it's much better than wrapping the bar in a towel for hip thrusts, and I'm also using it occasionally to reduce range of motion on bench.Padding seems good so far, ideal firmness and doesn't have any indentations after a few weeks of use. It's not the multi-colored foam I've seen in a lot of safety squat bars but it still seems fine. Price was also fair (~$30 when I purchased it) so no complaints.

Great pad, nice and thick, worth the cost
Only had for a month or so but so far so good. Nice and thick pad so great for heavy hip thrusts or calf raises (on the knees in squat rack). Seems to be well constructed but time will tell.
