Outstanding customer support and awesome product!
We bought this for our 8x8 ft fire pit at our lake house. We spend a few weeks in the summer at the house and spend our evenings (and some days) around the fire with family and friends. We had only done smores until this year. We wanted to find a grill that was versatile and could be over the fire when we wanted to use it and out of the way when not. This is perfect, we installed near 1 corner and the arms easy rotate 360 degrees allowing you to position the grates over the flames. Each arm is independent and can be moved up and down to whatever height you desire and with the thumb screws, you can even adjust up and down as you are cooking for more or less flame. We first made NY Strip and asparagus, outstanding! Next, marinated pork chops and corn on the cob, husk on, again, really great. Next was hamburgers, and cheeseburgers for 8 people, there was plenty of room on the bigger grate. Next we had 20+ people over and did chicken, brats, hot dogs, hamburger, turkey burgers...it did require 2 rounds to get all of the food cooked, but everyone enjoyed that we cooked over an open flame. Our brother and sister-in-law and kids used it and only it for the next week as well, no one ever even turned on the gas grill! Enough about the awesome food we made...we had no problem installing. We pounded the stake into one corner of the fire it which allows us to swing it out away from the flames whenever we aren't using it. Assembly was very easy and we were done in about 5 minutes or less. We did have one problem...one of the sleeves with a thumbscrew that you use to tighten around the post at the height you want each of the the arms had 1 of 2 welds broken and when we tightened it the first time, it broke completely and without being able to weld, we could not fix it...this was disappointing, but the very next day an automated email came from the Seller asking how everything was. I replied with the issue and had a personal email response the next day asking if I could send some pictures for quality purposes. I did and the very next day had FEDEX number emailed to me for the replacement, which we received the following day! So, we only had used it 2 times with only being able to adjust one of the arm/grates up and down, which was ok, as we didn't really need 2 grates for only 4 people. There are very few products that I like as much as this one, can't wait to use it next month on a long weekend trip and lots of weeks next summer when we return to the lake house for family vacations.

Great features - we love it - just some minor construction flaws
This is a really awesome unit. The construction is a little flimsy in some respects, but the design is so novel and overall it functions so well that we don't really care. The main, round grill swivels so that you have complete control over where the food is placed in relation to the fire. And we don't even use the adjustable collars to control the height of the grills. Just the weight of the arm/grill places enough pressure on the connection to hold it in place. So that makes it all the easier to change the height while cooking without unscrewing the collars. We cook over the fire almost all the time. Having this unit has made cooking much easier and more enjoyable. And I never have to worry about whether a campground will have a suitable grill with the fire ring.

I like that this one can swivel away from the fire ...
I purchased this for my husband for his birthday. He'd had a rack for cooking over campfires when we go camping and it was at the end of it's life. I like that this one can swivel away from the fire and you don't have to find a place to put it where somebody wont accidentally step on it. But what I don't like is that it completely mushroomed out when he tried to hammer it into the ground. He ended up having to pile big rocks around it to get it to stay up. When we put a thing of ribs on it, it almost tipped the bottom rack off. Over all it is ok, but definitely more for cementing over a fire pit in your back yard and not for keeping in the camper to cook over the fire with.

Very cheap made
Very cheap made material isn't a joke. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Perfect over our stone fire pit.
The inside of the center post did not seem to be treated or painted, and exhibited small signs of rust. In spite of this, the grill was perfect for our application. The grill arrived at our house within a few days, and included clear instructions. It also came with an extra base for mounting in cement. We have built a stone fire pit in our back yard, and wanted a grill that we could swing out of the way when we don't need it. The grill also has a place to hang our grilling utensils. The grills adjust for height over the fire. Although I wouldn't recommend this for a back packing trip, it would be perfect for small family camping over an open fire. I gave it five stars in spite of the inside of the center post because it was exactly what I needed for my application, Included a utensil rack (Which means someone actually thought about real life use.), its simple design, and timely delivery. WYSIWYG

Better than i thought it could be
I spent A LOT of money on this however it was completely worth it, the design is flawless. It has sides on the massive grill grates. They both swivel easily due to support from the bottom screw. The spike the goes into the ground weighs a lot and is solid steel. The construction is heavy duty I'll probably have to put it in my will because it will outlast me. It's expensive but it has every quality from many different designs. I love it. 8-15-16 I have used it twice this year, last weekend my friend put 2 large frying pans on it and it supported them pretty well, even though it isn't the orginal design. Only flaw is when I pound it in, which I have done several times now, it's starting to mushroom but I'll grind it off and it'll be fine.

Poor quality. Not worth the $$$.
Very disappointed in this fire pit grill. Poor quality and fit. Very loose tolerances on the big grill so the assembly wobbles and doesn’t feel sturdy. Or too tight tolerances causing improper fit as in the rectangular grill. Missing hardware to secure the anchor to the main pole. Spot weld snapped off the nut securing the top hanger when assembling. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’ve assembled it and recycled the box I’d ship it back. Not worth the time and energy to disassemble, box, and return for refund. Easier to repair and strengthen what they sent. But certainly not worth the money. Very disappointed.

Perfect solution for our large fire pit!
Absolutely perfect! Set up only took minutes. We have a large fire pit and this grill works perfectly. Love the adjustable features...you can swivel your food completely off the flame easily if it gets to hot. You can feed a huge party with this grill and cook different items easily with the double layered feature. So much space! We have used it over and over again. Worth the money!

Nice peice of grilling equipment
This grill well constructed and perfect for camping. I cant justify the price because it isnt the thickest metal. The welds are not clean either. The circular grill doesnt sit flush with the base. Still works fine though.
