Multiple ports
Great dock including many ports and mostly works great. Only issue I have found is with usb headphones not being recognized by laptop so not able to connect them via dock. But otherwise, mouse, keyboard, monitor have seamlessly connected. I'd buy this again if I needed another dock.

Nice device, gets hot when transferring data.
It's good, it works, it has many features and makes a good companion for a Macbook that has only two USB-C ports. BUT, if you use it to connect an external storage device (a fast USB or SD or, worse, an external SSD), the device will get hot. I once needed to transfer a large amount of information (around 150GB) and the adapter got so hot I needed to put a fan on top of it to cool it down. For normal usage (just a few photographs or videos or something of the sort), it will just get a bit warm and the performance is fine. The problem only presents when transferring a lot of data very quickly. Obviously, like with almost any other device, when it overheats, the performance decreases significantly.

The 7-in-2 USB-C Adapter seems to be specific to certain makes/models which are not listed
Purchased this to replace a couple of other adapters mainly for the 7390 2-in-1 laptop.Very disappointed to find out that the two USB-C male connectors do fit in the corresponding USB-Cports on the laptop. The distance between the two male USB-C connectors is around 1/8" short for both to align for the fit into the laptop. Same thing with an XPS 5560 and an Asus laptop. The seller has a picture showing that the adapter sits nicely connected to a laptop with all ports exposed but doesn't list any exclusions on specific makes/models.Also checked this against a XPS 5560 and and Asus laptop with same results. The Adapter just doesn't align with the laptop ports. The adapter otherwise seems to be well constructed with an Aluminum/steel shell and looks & feels great. The description needs to be updated to list what it fits. If you are looking at this, Pl. ask the seller if it will fit your specific make/model otherwise it is wasted effort on getting it and then sending it back.

Great with my ROG Ally
I use this with my ROG Ally for a travel dock and it works great. The ethernet cable is gigabit, not the 100MB cheap ones you see all over Amazon. Works great, all the USB plugs fit well (a big problem on cheap docks) and the size is nice. I do wish it had a USB C plug or two but for the price it is perfect. It is also aluminum so there is great heat dissapation though it never gets hot for me.

Solidly built, some features lacking
The Verbatim hub is made of aluminum and feels well made. I purchased the hub for use with my MacBook Pro. The USB-A ports work well and transfer at USB 3 speed. However, the single USB–C port is for charging only and not data transfer. Also, the headphone jack outputs a very low volume if you are connected to a portable speaker—it works fine for earphones.
