A little too large, but still great
Clothes these days are made for people who carry more weight, which is ironic for a karate gi jacket, because you'd think that karate players would be quite fit. Anyway, I have been a martial artist for more than 45 years and the material of the jacket is great. It's a bit full, but when I tighten my belt it's just fine.

This is a good quality heavyweight gi top. I have had a dozen or so over the years and they always meet my expectations. I wish the set still came with the traditional style pants rather than the elastic at the top.

Well-made, but stiff.
Very heavy (which I wanted) and very stiff (which I didn't).This is for a costume, so I still have time, but I've soaked it for days to soften it, I've washed & dried it at least a dozen times, and it's not softening up.I can't rate it badly for being too well made, but be aware: This is not a soft item.
