Perfect taste and super fresh

Love this black licorice - can’t stop eating it. I used to get it at a British store in Santa Monica Do it and go out of my way for Pontifracts - when that shop closed I found another black licorice I liked a lot and then they changed their recipe, so I went searching for what I used to buy which is this particular type of Back licorice. You can not eat just one.

They have a unique flavor of liquorice That I have never had before! It is a softer flavor, but not watered down. Not too sweet. I just ordered another two bags. Would recommend to anyone to try it.

These things are OK, but if you are after black licorice, they aren't what you want. The quality is good, and they are soft and fresh, but they don't taste like black licorice.

Buying for years, could swear these are even better.

I love Haribo, but these Pontefract cakes are way off base. They are too soft, unlike the standard Haribo consistency—more akin to Trolli candies. Worse by far is the all but complete lack of licorice taste. I threw them away as not worth the calories.

These are great molasses chews. They are slightly tough and super chewy with perfectly minimal moisture. The mild licorice flavor is fun without being too strong for people on the fence. It balances nicely with the molasses flavor. A+

I love salty licorice, but this one could be better. It is neither salty nor sweet - just kind of blah.
