Very lightweight, easy to pack and travel with, very warm on cold nights

I love the contrast yellow piping, & find I'm using this throw a lot. Can't speak to the water resistance, haven't used it outdoors. Also haven't yet washed it, but my down stuff always washes nicely.

I have An 4x4 truck with a roof rack tent and drawers in the bed. I was looking for a warm blanket that would stuff down small and stay in my tuck all the time. This blanket works perfect for that. I was skeptical at first seeing as some of the reviews were about 50/50 with complaints of not enough feathers in some of the squares. So the fist thing I did was check if the seemed even or not. They did all seem to be pretty even. Within abou 3 hours it puffed up very nice.I am an EMT and live in Southern California. Befor covid I would work as a medical supervisor at many desert festivals and camp all year long. Even in the winter I can go somewhere like Kern River or Apple Valley desert and camp. I am normally fine winter camping with 2 big very warm Mexican blankets. The same ones I sleep comfortably with in my house at night during the winter. Its gets cold in my room. So I tried this blanket out in my room by it self the first night. And half way through the night I was kicking it off because I was to hot. I have not had a chance to go camping with it yet. But I am very confident that it will do the jod and work great for my camping trips. Or any emergency situations where I might need to get it out of my truck unexpectedly. I do plan on buying an extra military wool blanket to go with it just in case. Because you can never be to prepared.Also I forgot to mention I bought the large size one. And am very happy I did. The blanket is larger than the footprint of the 3 person tent on top of my truck. So in theroy I wont wake up in the middle of the night freezing because my girlfriend stole the whole thing.

I keep this blanket on my bed all the time. It is perfect for people who fluctuate between hot and cold temps. I haven't used it outside so I can't speak to that. I use it to watch tv and it is perfect to wrap around you and large enough that you are snuggly warm. I am considering getting the larger size just because I like this one so much. It will pack down to nothing and washes up easy.

So far I'm really impressed with this blanket! It's not as full and fluffy as I was hoping. But it's still very warm and works great! I combine this with a military surplus zippered poncho liner, and it's kept me nice and warm down to 35 degrees Fahrenheit. When you combine this with a poncho liner, or any other sleeping bag or sleep system. You can easily get down to very low temperatures! You just can't beat down when it comes to warmth! Especially pound for pound! Wool is also great for cold weather, but much more heavy. With a heavy wool blanket, with this under that blanket. And a nice long fire with a mylar lined emergency blanket tarp in an A frame configuration. You could easily get down below zero! I haven't had any down or feathers escape this blanket. Or any other problems so far. So I'm going to have to say I recommend this product. I definitely recommend getting the biggest size. Because for not much more money, you will get much more insulation!!👍👍

The blanket is very light and great for thru hiking in the warmer summer months. My first outing with it was a chilly late summer night with temperatures in the mid to high 50’s, needless to say it wasn’t enough warmth for me to be comfortable.I will be purchasing a warmer blanket for fall and early summer overnight trips

Bought this to use as a throw on chilly winter days. It does an okay job. Not enough Down to create an adequate barrier between me and the cold air.Would not purchase another one.

This is really compact and light, after trying the medium size I definitely recommend the larger size as was not that much more expensive and the extra coverage really works for me (I'm not that tall at 5 foot 7). I used with a Deuter second skin sleeping bag and was cosy and warm all night - summer camping but outside temps were still very chilly overnight.
