Bigger than expected
Just opened it up not used yet as weather has warmed up. Love the look and size of it but just wish it had some kind of handle. We will be using it in house as a back up heat and at the camp. A handle would be great other than that looks great now when cold weather comes will see how it heats up. Happy with product.

Installation has a learning curve
I was excited to find this model in my local big box home improvement store for much cheaper than offered here, and picked one up over the smaller, 20k BTU model. Specifically purchased to heat my 500 sqft walk out basement level studio during a recent cold snap. I had a 1500W infrared heater, an oscillating space heater, and the single vent from my homes central air struggling to keep the room comfortable while it was sub 10 degrees outside. This heater made the room comfortable, with the help of a fan to circulate the air, in less than two hours. The catch was, I didn't have a natural gas hookup in the room to use, so I needed something that would run from a 20lb tank of propane until I can do some gas plumbing. While this product absolutely fit the bill, it took a lot of research and an extra hardware store to make happen. The instructions has a great diagram on how to plumb the inlet to the heater with a shut off valve and stand pipe. But it doesn't include any of these fittings, or tell you exactly how to connect to a 20lb tank. In my case, I needed to buy a hose kit, and find a special adapter that connected the hose to the 3/8" NPT inlet on the shutoff valve. The instructions also weren't clear on how to use the standoffs to keep the bottom of the heater off the wall when wall mounting. There's mention of a "red key" that wasn't present in the included hardware bag as well.Furthermore, there is a fan that is sold separately which is absolutely necessary to circulate the hot air that is blasted upwards and behind the unit when wall mounted. This can be remedied with any kind of box or window fan placed close enough to circulate the air. But, why isn't it included with the heater?Lastly, the instruction manual seems to be generic for 4 models of this heater, which makes it hard to understand, or find the right information in.
