This tool was super bellflower, the magnet on the plates aren't that great and it fell apart after the first use but the washer was easy to put back into place. The use of the tool itself was really easy and smooth

Arrived with out any Instructions. After a few minutes I was able to understand how itis suppose to work. The metal plates are to face the piston and brake caliper to squeeze the pistonand compress it. All well and good, other than the ratchet mechanism did not work at all. Back to AMAZON it goes!So, I went back to my old method of using a large C Clamp to compress the piston and it worked in less than 30 seconds.

Doesn’t fit most calipers. Magnets that are on them fall off on their own.

THIS THING IS TOTALLY USELESS. THE DESIGN IS AMAZINGLY POOR. IT COMES WITH SMALL BUTTON MAGNETS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO HOLD PARTS TOGETHER...THEY FELL OFF VERY QUICKLY. THE RACHET PORTION NEVER WORKED. IF THE RATCHET IS HELD WITH A VISE GRIP, IT MAY WORK, BUT CERTAINLY NOT WITHOUT HUGE FRUSTRATION. THE TOOLS THAT ARE STRAIGHT LINE WITH LARGE FLANGE ARE WAY CHEAPER AND WORK WELL.
