This PSU killed 2 ASUS Maximus VIII Formula motherboards and caused an endless number of restarts regardless of the load on the PC. Whether I was gaming on WoW or checking email, the PSU continually shut down my PC. As I paid almost $500 for it, I troubleshot every other possibility first. I have Corsair cables, RAM and even a full-size air cooled Corsair tower, so, needless to say, I like the company. Because I work long hours and was replacing and troubleshooting everything, I just barely missed the A to Z Guarantee window.I contacted the Corsair warranty department today. hopefully, they will honor and standby their warranty and refund my money for the unit. I will amend or extend this review after i hear back from Corsair. Although I love Corsair, on this occasion I would prefer a refund as I had to buy another PSU. I typically love the company's products, but customer service is a key component in any purchaser's buying experience. What happens with Corsair may very likely influence whether or not I ever recommend or use any parts ever again at home or on the many systems I maintain at work.I just heard back from Corsair. They give a 10 year warranty, but they don't support. Therefore, my advice is to buy your power supply from Antec or EVGA as I can say with certainty that they do guarantee and support their products and that customer satisfaction is a hallmark of their business. I'm out almost $500 because I chose Corsair. Don't be me...go for the EVGA or Antec Power Supply!

The computer that I the AX1500 presently installed in doesn't put a strain on this bear. The fan hasn't come on once since it has been installed. I had to up grade because I install a GeForce GTX 780Ti Video card and my old power supply didn't have the correct wiring harness and terminals. My future plans was to upgrade my hole system to a dual CPU workstation which I will eventually need plenty of power. The Corsair Link is a very useful programing tool. I have know dought that this power supply will supply me with all the power that I will need in my future workstation build.

Well, this is simply the best PSU out there, in every aspect, the only question you should be asking yourself when deciding whether to buy this or not is if you're willing to pay the price. . .

i needed 1 more 6 pin connector and this was a steal at 328$.
