This foundation is great for the price!! And the shade range is great. I am cool toned and very pale, and I got the shade swan. The first foundation I have tried that is pale enough and not too yellow/orange :)It applies fairly matte, definitely best to blend with a damp beauty blender rather than anything else. I used it with the elf prep + hydrate stick and I think if you’ve got normal/dry skin you’ll definitely need a moisturising primer like that.It covers well, I think it’s best to do a thin layer and then reapply in more pigmented areas such as breakouts/acne scars if you’re wanting an even base. This is definitely the most full coverage foundation I’ve used but it doesn’t look cakey at all. I also mixed in a drop of face oil into it after putting some on the back of my hand, this gives it a slightly glowing and more natural look which I personally prefer. It still lasted well all day using this method. I struggle really bad with any foundation due to larger pours, perimenalpausal skin, uneven skin tone due to change in hormones, my skin is dull and I do have dark circles due to lack of sleep/stress.I can honestly say, hands down this product gives my skin, a lovely flawless natural finish.I use "buff" because it's pretty much my skin tone, all it does is even everything out! make me look healthy, its lightweight and being perimenalpausal I do suffer from sweaty brow when it's comes to around that time of the month.I have tried, thousands of products. All price ranges, this has been and will always be my go too.It's not cakey, it's not oily, just velvety soft and flawless stays on all day without soaking into my skin.Suitable for layering up, during the day 1 coat is sufficient for me. A night out I put 2 coats on.I can honestly say do not change this product in anyway shape or form.Thanks E.L.F!

… the only drawback to this foundation as far as I’m concerned is the smell – it’s not unpleasant exactly, but just a bit too strong for something that I put on my face. Apart from that, it really is a great product: really good coverage, easy to apply (I use a brush), and lovely colour on me. I really like Elf products and this is no exception

I got the Pearl shade, as I'm quite pale. I wanted this foundation to smooth out my skin, and still look natural. I think it does achieve this, I think it still makes my skin look natural but the dark was under my eyes has depleted.The foundation is really lightweight, and non-sticky so my face feels soft and not tacky afterwards.I read reviews where people had difficulty applying it with a makeup brush, so I used a soft sponge and got a nice amount of coverage, and it's wasn't hard to apply either. It does take a few minutes to dryly, but this means its malleable, so I don't get peaches drying sooner than others.I have dry skin, bit this does not dry out and doesn't come off easily with touching my face before a set spray is used.All in all a great foundation for those who want natural, lightweight coverage. It's the best I've used, plus it smells really nice!

Honest review:Pros: Great foundation for “every day”. It’s very silky and feels nice on the skin. It’s not heavy or cake-y. A buildable foundation. Applies well and isn’t patchy (like so many others are!)Cons: Shade was off (likely due to me buying online). A bit chalky. The swatch pic on the advertisement makes the consistency look thicker than it actually is (its more runny in real life than the buttery look in the ad). Doesn’t last long at all. It’s like a tinted moisturiser. Just melts into the skin and disappears 🥶Personal view: I wanted something more affordable, light and pliable (with more coverage) than my huda beauty foundation. But this was just really runny, pale and didn’t last long. Can imagine there are better quality foundations at this price range. Don’t buy this if you’re looking for a night out makeup. Great foundation for every day when you can’t be bothered getting all done up. Would recommend trying your shade in store before purchasing to avoid disappointment. Really good foundation, i’ve been thinking to but it for quite a long time, I don’t wanna say that’s my favourite yet because i’ve been wrong before but im glad i decided to try it.I like the texture of it, the undertone it’s exactly what i was looking for, you don’t find yellow undertone on too many foundations, it’s not cakey and it doesn’t accentuate the fine lines on the face. The color i took is a bit light for me but i can still use it. Overall i shouldn’t have wait this long to try it.

The colour is so unbelievably pale I don’t know anyone that would be able to wear this unless it was for fancy dress or you wanted to look like Wednesday Adams

First time trying elf and I'm impressed. Goes on well, light coverage. I just wish it was scent free, but the scent is fairly mild luckily. Well worth trying. Plus I was able yo color match online which is great.

This foundation is so light, flawless and provides full coverage. I’m an oily T-zone girly and this provides all day coverage that doesn’t have a greasy texture. Also, cruelty free for this price? Foundation can’t get any better than this. It’s small, but that justifies the price. I wear makeup almost every day and this lasts about 3 months. A must buy!

I really like this foundation. Perfect colour match! Feels and looks like I'm not wearing makeup. Covers pores well, blends well (with a slightly damp makeup sponge) and doesn't settle in my lines too much. It lasts all day.My only issue is the pump doesn't work good after awhile. A squeeze tube would be better. Also the product dries really fast, so apply quickly.Wish there was more product in the bottle, but for the affordable price I just buy more.
