PAP64881 - Paper Mate Eraser Refills

This product is not easy to get ahold of on the retail end. Matter of fact you cannot get the erasers for the Comfortmate anywhere in brick and mortor stores that I am aware of. I have purchased the refills of erasers via amazon twice now and the price is good and I have gotten what the descriptions have described. These white erasers are so much better than the red ones on the regular number 2 pencils. They erase much more cleanly every time.

First, let me state that this is a good product.Now the caveats: The photograph doesn't make it clear that this is a plastic tube containing several short erasers. One end of the tube has a metal bezel that holds an eraser, so the tube itself can serve as a separate eraser with its own protective caps. You can also take out an eraser and insert it into the end of your mechanical pencil. If one end gets too dirty, you can flip it over and start on the other end.(I was expecting a longer eraser, about 3cm long, like the one that came with my pencil. It seems those are simply not available.)Anyway, these erasers are just fine - I was a little surprised to see they were a shorter length.

UPDATE: The tube says these are SANFORD Tuff Stuff Erasers!!!I own 3 different styles of Papermate automatic pencils. All are 0.5 mm. These erasers DO NOT FIT ANY of my Papermate pencils even though in the questions section someone stated that they do fit Papermate 0.5mm automatic pencils.

Works as intended -- fits in the end of the paper mate pencil and removes written errors - will purchase again when needed!

Although they are the ones I was looking for they have been made smaller like everything else - cost m ore for less product.

I made a mistake that only 4 of 5 erasures were in the package. Be sure to pull off both ends of the tube as one erasure has a metal clip that keels it from sliding thru tube. I saw reviews that only 4 were sent. There are definitely 5.

So nice to be able to replace the eraser, rather than throwing out the mechanical pencil when the eraser gets to a nub.

Item finally arrived today, advertised 5 erasers in tube, only four. This is the first bad review I have given, but won’t buy from this source again
