I think you are assuming this is a data dongle, it's not. This dongle provides a means to have WiFi capability where you don't have it. This 1300 refers to the speed that is available, in total for the 2 and 5 gig bands and the dongle specs will tell you how that is split, typically you would have 433 and 866 Mbits. So in short you are looking at WiFi transfer speeds not data.

Q: Does this support wake on LAN

As long as the the target computer is in standby, hibernate or shutdown, with power reserved for the network card in theory it should, however not brave enough to try it as l don't want to compromise our systems security as this could leave it prone to hacking apparently.

Q: My gaming pc is slow at downloading games will this increse the download mbps speed?

I have two of the wi-fi dongles, one for the laptop and the other for a mini pc connected to the tv. From a distance of about 30 feet, I was getting less than 10mbit/sec, I now get >30mbit/sec, so download speed has increased by 3 fold.
