The Lost (Witch & Wizard, 5)

A quick bio before I start- ive been reading these since first grade, when I bought the first Maximum Ride book at a school book sale (Thank you to the clueless parent who thought that would be a good read for such a little kid). Anyway, I was afraid to take the book out of my bag due to the thickness and (kind of graphic) cover art, but once I did I loved. After reading the first three books, I discovered w and w, and here I am. I read all the books in both series, up to nevermore and the kiss respectively. Years passed. I switched schools. I annoyed my sister. I kissed a guy (Jk) Until mid 6th grade, when i found m ride forever. I cried lot. nuff said. I didn't want to red the lost, as It looked like a copy of the kiss. I finally bought it and Im glad ai did.The lost is probably my favorite and least favorite of the series. Like Maximum ride forever, all the characters seem so old. Wisty isnt as fiery. Whit seems detached. Pearl s evil, and in the book for like 2 seconds. I actually havent read the book recently, and am trying remember the details. I thought the family and the horsemen were executed well. I didnt like the return of the one. It fet forced. The ending. I cried. So hard. I always thought Wisty and Bryon would be together forever. His sacrfice was very imilar to Dylans. I miss the lighthearted feel of the first books, but loved how the characters matured with me. I sy goodbye to them now, at the end of the road. Goodbye to the resistance. Goodbye to Janine and Sasha and Emmet nd Margo and eveyone else. Goodbye to the city, and the order within it. Goodbye to Pearl, and Mama May, and everyone else . Goodbye to the Allgoods, the parents, Miss highsmith, and the talking weasel. Goodbye to the writer, whit. Goodbye to the Wisty, the Girl on Fire, The One with All the Gifts.

Was not happy that book did not have dust cover/book cover. Should have been in description. If I had known that I would not have ordered it.

James Patterson continued to surprise in this series with Lost. As always, there were many twist and turns. I highly recommend!

Fun to read. More wizards and witches then the other books written by Patterson. I enjoyed the change

My daughter has loved this series of books.

This has been a amazing series brilliant characters and story line. I was hooked from the first book and read them back to back I found it very frustrating to have to wait for the last one lol

A really good read,but what can I say except it's a James Patterson book and I have yet to read a bad one from this man.

Great story as are all the Witch & Wizard books. Keeps you in suspense. Like the way it's written in the first person. Nearly finished this one - pity it's the last in the series.
