Funko Vinyl Idolz: Willy Wonka-Willy Wonka Action Figure

I've literally been wanting and looking and hunting and searching for something like this for YEARS, as I'm a big fan of the movie. Even so, I didn't exactly rush out and purchase one of these right away when I found out they existed (finally!!!), because seeing the photos of it online just really didn't appeal to me. It looked odd and too cartoonish, and I'd have preferred something a bit more realistic, and preferably poseable. (Yes, I do tend to be super picky!) But finally I gave in and bought one, as I knew I would eventually.I must say that I liked it a lot better when I was able to inspect the actual item, as opposed to a picture on a computer screen. The quality seems good enough. It's made of a durable plastic that should hold up just fine under normal use. Probably not intended for rough play by young children, but more as a collector's item for display.Some people have commented that it doesn't stand up very well, but included with mine was a plastic stand so I don't know why that should be an issue. In spite of the cartoony look to it, the attention to detail is impressive and I'd have to say that it's a must-have for collectors and/or any fan of the "original" Willy Wonka. I liked it enough to order a second one, as backup (one for display, and one to keep in original packaging), as I tend to do with things I really like. Approved by myself and recommended to anyone thinking of getting this, whether for you or as a gift.

This figure is super cool! I LOVE Gene Wilder and Willy Wonka is kickass!This figure is spot on in likeness to Willy Wonka and Gene Wilder. I would buy it again and again if ever lost or broken.Just be careful, if knocked over, I feel like the cane could snap off.Over all quality, in my book, is 10 out of 10!

Great piece for a Wonka collector. I love this piece because it is beautifuly painted, looks just like the Gene Wilder character and captures the true essence of the Wonka character. It also brings back all of the wonderful memories i have about the movie each time I look at the figure.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is one of my favorite movies of all time. This was a must get once it came out and I was not disappointed. Sometimes Willy is a little fickle when it comes to getting his cane to stick in the base but looks great. A must for any Willy Wonka fan.

PERFECT in every way. Willy Wonka is one of my favorite films so I had to add this piece to my toy shelf... I love having Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka watching me as a write. Highly recommend.

Love the Vinyl Idolz series collected almost all of them...here's hoping they keep the series going for years to come...so many movies and TV shows this line could benefit from.

Super cool doll but I got this for my 2 year old who's obsessed with Willy Wonka and she broke his shoes off within a day. She still loves it though!

I love Funko Vinyl Idolz products. I've purchased several and they have never failed to please! Willy Wonka came in perfect condition. A great tribute to Gene Wilder.

I am a big "Willy Wonka fan" and now with the passing of Gene Wilder, when I saw this model and facial expression of "Willy Wonka" on it; I wanted this for my own collection. Right now, this Wonka Model is on my piano coming into my "male cave" and this model is very visable and strikes up a lot of conversation. I like the size of it and its well made. I think that the price for it was very reasonable for a little piece of my favourite childhood of very specail movies!

El envío ha tardado mes y medio, una barbaridad para tratarse de Amazon. Estaba perfectamente embalado y ha llegado sin un rasguño (los 3 euros de gastos de envío están bien aprovechados). La figura es una preciosidad, mide algo menos de 20cm y tiene un nivel de detalle y de colores que asombra comparado con otras figuras de Funko pop. Trae una peana para sujetarlo y lograr que el bastón tenga la curvatura adecuada. Me ha encantado

Came earlier than expected. Looks just as good as it does in the preview. If you want this in your collection you won’t be disappointed.Across the desert lies the promised land.
