EASY TO USE - Great Construction, Better Than What I Expected!!!
This is a metal constructed computer stand that is not too heavy and not at all flimsy. I researched many brands before I bought and decided on this one, even though it is more expensive than many other options, because of the ease of use and the durability. Other brands had complicated buttons to push to change the position or had a metal framework but plastic hinges. This product has these rings at each joint that you swivel downwards to unlock and lock each joint. It's really very simple. You can unlock everything at the same time or just one section - or one section of the frame on both sides - however you want. You unlock the joint, make the adjustment you need, and then swivel the lock closed and the joint stays in place. Everything on the product is metal and it feels high quality and solid as I'm working. I'm delighted. This product allows me to work in almost any position including lying down fully flat which was important to me. I have issues with my spine, and sometimes I need to work from bed lying down. Unlike the old wooden "bed desk" that I have used for years, the wooden frame can't be adjusted in any way - only the incline of the stand can be adjusted. With the all-metal stand, there are nearly infinite adjustments that I can make. It is terrific. Another significant feature is that when I'm using the heavy wooden "bed desk" I could only work with my knees flat. With the metal stand I can work lying down fully relaxed, and with this stand I can put my knees up which takes all the strain out of my lower back. I even can configure the stand so that my laptop is close enough to me that I'm working with my elbows resting on the bed (no strain in upper body) and with my knees bent (no strain in lower back). When you don't need the stand, or you need to travel, it collapses/folds completely flat.I have a 13" laptop and it's got room to spare on either side and above. The metal platform onto which my laptop rests is completely vented throughout its metal surface so the heat from my laptop is not building up at all. All in all, this product is even better than what I had expected and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm working so much faster and so much more comfortably! I highly recommend this product if you want well-made, versatile, and easy to transport from place to place. Thank you!

Sturdy and easy to adjust
I bought in Singapore more than a decade ago my first laptop tray very similar to this and I'm stil using it BUT without the legs because they were made of plastic and gave way after a year of usage. The tray of that was made of 3mm thick aluminum and that's why I still find it useful. Since then I've gone through numerous variations of laptop holders but this one fits the bill exactly because not only is it strongly built, it is also versatile enough to be used whether I am in a couch or bed or table. And, of course it allows me to stand while using my laptop on a table. Seven stars!

Works as advertised but overpriced
Sturdy product but overpriced.Pros:-The table top and legs are finished nicely-The joints seem solid internally and lock in to place-large enough surface to hold a 17" laptop or to use as a small desk-can be used in a number of positions (stand up desk, sitting in a chair or couch, laying down)-stable in all of the positionsCons:-The legs cannot be locked in any position. they have very specific areas where they can be locked into place-----------this isn't a huge deal because it locks in every couple inches, but it is kind of annoying when adjusting because you have to find the spot before the lock will close down-Larger than I would have liked. I read the description and knew the measurements but it was still larger than expected. I think that it seems bigger than the dimensions because the legs hang out a few inches outside of the table which makes it seem bigger.-There is nothing to keep it from sliding if your using it as a stand up desk. The very end of the legs appear to be rubber or grippy but it is a hard smooth plastic. I use this on a wood desk and it slides around very easily.-Although it is sturdy, it also doesn't feel/look "nice enough" to be priced as high as it isI personally don't like the chrome finishing around the joints and lock rings. It looks and feels like a cheap coating that will flake off. I don't see any flaking or anything, I just wanted to let you know what I thought about it.Overall, It works well and is stable. I think that it is probably sturdier than the $20 dollar versions that can be found online.

THE AWESOME “WALL-E LAZY TRAY”!!!
A very slick looking tray in very sturdy, metal material, this is by far the best laptop/tablet rack/portable table we’ve had...and we’ve had quite a few!I had spinal surgeries and as a homeschool parent, this didn’t come soon enough but I’m super glad I’ve found and bought it!I’ve read complaints about adjusting the legs and tray and learned that, as we are adjusting the angles, one must wiggle the tray or whatever leg angle is being adjusted so the locks can move back into place. Otherwise, it can be pretty hard to get some of the locks in place as you’re adjusting the legs and the tray.We liked it so much that we purchased one for our son and one for each of our 3 nephews! I wasn’t about to give up mine!!! LOL!We haven’t found the need to install the “mouse rest tray” so I couldn’t tell you how that works...seems pretty easy to install and it’s okay size.I tested if this tray would withstand the weight of our largest laptop, which is a very heavy HP...I let it sit on it overnight and no problems... although this is a solid tray, it’s not heavy at all so it’s very easy to lift it up. I’m small and weak from back surgeries and found no problems moving this tray around.I was a little skeptical as far as being able to use it while in a lying down position with the tray hanging over my head. Mine is the largest iPad Pro with a heavy keyboard case attached to it...so it weighs more than some laptops and I didn’t want to end up with it on my face...but sure enough, this tray allows for angles that seemingly defy gravity!!! It made me feel like we’re heading towards the “WALL-E CHAIR POPULATION LAZY AGE”! LOL!Highly recommend this tray! You won’t regret the investment!

A must for the bed bound viewer/reader.
Currently using it for viewing my iPad in bed, which I find it excellent. Two years ago I bought a cheaper version ie. $45 Aus. That is so flimsy in comparison yet much to my surprise still functions as a stand to read my online newspaper. Backhelp Stand is far superior in it’s sturdiness and dimensions ( far wider allowing much greater comfort in bed). An improvement would be in making the 360 degree markings larger for adjustments which take some time and effort to get used to. Congratulations, an excellent product.

Truly awful
If you want something to drive you to distraction putting together and adjusting this is it. All the mechanisms are really stiff so if you get one bit in the right position you can’t lock it assuming you’ve been able to unlock it in tbd first place. You can’t read the “pole” readings unless you have 20:20 vision. Truly awful.

Excellent product.
This BACK stand has a sturdy metal construction. Each leg joint can be independently adjusted to multiple angles allowing for a wide variety of configurations. It is very easy to use and adjust. It works great with both my laptop and my iPad.

Super Teil!
