Gemmy Inflatable Replacement Fan/Blower with 5 Lights and Base - Model YEF-60

Original fan motor only lasted a season and then corroded. Hopefully this will do better.

This was a replacement motor for our 10 ft tall St Bernard Christmas inflatable dog. It worked perfect until the snow buried in until spring.

First of all if your buying a replacement motor you should take the time and make sure it’s equivalent. This was not the same model but the amps and rpm were. This was easy to replace simple 5 screws. I now have a functional Christmas blowup now. Thank you!

The motor on my newest inflatable died this year, first time it has happened.I was able to get the model number off of the old one to order.It installed easily and works great. My inflatable santa is once again erect.If the inflatable was not almost new, I would probably have bought another complete unit; the price of this fan is almost what I paid for the entire inflatable.

It was difficult for me to discern the size blower I needed. This was my second purchase. I thought it would be adequate but it’s not strong enough to keep my inflatable erect.

I liked that it was almost an exact and direct replacement. there was an issue with some screw heads being blocked by parts of the fan assembly, but overall it was alright. except the screws that came with it to secure the mounting flange had to be replaced. They were extremely difficult to install. I had to use the screws from the old fan to make it work.

I had to return it, it was way bigger than I was expecting. But it seemed well constructed.

3 stars for the limited amount of information provided prior to purchase. The product arrived in a timely manner and was working as expected. There was not enough information as to which inflatables these lights were designed for. It was not until we painstakingly disemboweled our minions and were restringing that we discovered we needed a 6 light system. Long gone was our original box the minions came in, so I made a best guess and I did not choose wisely. In for 75+ bucks and already had the 5 bulb system in the huge inflatable we took a chance. Nope, nada during the inflation the light configuration was not going to work for our guys. We cut string and made the best of a 75buck error. My advise is research and research to make sure you purchase the correct light string. They are not made to inter-swap.
