I was surprised at how well this works! It was easy to install, and it holds my phone well. I use my mapquest for everywhere I go, and it is so easy to see my phone so close now.

New review: customer service reached out to me and corrected the defective item I had received. They were very understanding and stood behind their product.This boasts to have a strong magnet, but it fails to deliver. I’ve had several other magnet phone holders that have no issue holding my phone without the need to adhere a metal plate to the back of the case…. Which negates your ability to charge your phone via NFC. I wanted to try this one with the vent clip but am very disappointed by the magnet’s inability to hold my phone. The iPhone 15 with cover will stick to the magnet for a few seconds before slowly sliding and falling off. I will say one I tried the holder with the adhesive metal plate (included) for the back of your phone, it did work better. This is not a fix for me though as I primarily charge my phone via NFC (near field contact) and the attached metal plate makes this impossible. Unfortunately this purchase was a waste of money for me….

Barely holds my S22 Ultra. Falls off when I step on my gas or hit a bump. Always allowing it to slip and turn as well even with a mag case.

My brand spanking’ new iPjone 13 Pro be, just came out of the box 3 day old with its fancy MagSafe case by Casely rounding out the look (if you are hard on cases, the Casely “bold” line is the answer (get Casely.com) I had been switching between a case that attaches to my other case via magnet, and had read several questions and answers, WITH ANSWERS FROM THE SELLER saying this case is compatible with the MagSafe iPhones (iPhone 12& on) and they did not need any additional accessories. I installed it properly and even double checked to ensure nothing had changed (I have a different version of this device in a different vehicle and really like this brand and the change in the functionality of this new charger had me pretty excited. I put the phone against the magnetic pad and it “took” although not very strongly. I repositioned it, decided I’d drive around the lot and as I turned the corner at less than 5 mph, my phone came off the holder, landed on the corner of my cup holder and into my passenger door pocket. It shattered my tempered glass screen cover (I had JUST put on the phone. Had I not had the screen cover on my phone, that would have had a shattered screen.***The main issue I have is that this phone holder states that it is compatible with the MagSafe phones, they are, but NOT using the MagSafe feature. It is NOT compatible as a stand-alone MagSafe phone holder for a vehicle. Because of the false/skeaky description, I’m out a high quality tempered glass protector that had been used 3 whole days, and the time I spent comparing product to find one that that was a solid balance of cost vs value. I won’t buy from this company again because they weren’t honest in their advertising OR their answers. 3 people asked if it was SPECIFICALLY MagSafe compatible and the seller response was “yes, with the phone alone or a MagSafe case.”Save your money, likely your phone and the frustration, spend a little more and get a TRUE MagSafe car mount.

I have tried every kind of car phone mount out there and this one is a 100% buy. Every vent mount I have ever used has had at least one of these problems: they don’t securely attach to the vent, they’re so close to the vent that you can’t use it, or they’re too weak to hold the phone.This mount solves all three of these issues perfectly. It has the best and most secure mounting mechanism I’ve ever seen on a vent mount. I would literally break the mount itself trying to pull it off my vent before it would come off. It sits away from the vent and you can configure it so that your phone isn’t even in front of the vent at all if you want. And the magnet that holds the phone on is very strong. Never had the phone fall off hitting bumps or anything else.Can’t recommend this enough especially for the price. This is what I would call a premium mount at a dollar store price. Excellent all the way around. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!
