Great idea and works well if held in place by a headband or eyemask but the self adhesive does not work particularly well

It's pointless as it doesn't stick to any part of the body!! For a headache the child would have to be lying on their back and not moving atall

The description says to freeze 30 minutes before use BUT none of us can predict when your going to need them and having to wait 30 minutes for this to freeze isn’t ideal especially if needed urgently.I’ve actually kept mine in the fridge so they are constantly cool but because there is 3 in the pack, you can get a cool one straight and pop another in the freezer so you’ll have a cool strip straight away and after 30 minutes you’ll have a frozen one but you aren’t delaying applying first aid

So good to find cooling pads that are a perfect size for small cuts/foreheads/cheeks etc compared to other cooliong gel pads which are often far to large and character shaped.I keep these in the freezer permanantly as you never know when your going to need them especially in the spring time when children are outside more.It states clearly in the description not to use them directly from the freezer so I give the pads a few minutes to warm up.My children appear to enjoy these magic plasters as we call, so far they have been used on a scratched knee, toothache (side of face) and I've used 1 when i had a headache.The cool temperature lasted approx 10 minutes each and when they start to warm up their is 1 cat that changes colour so you know when to remove them.The gel pads have pictures of cat characters on them which is a great distraction for children.Greta value for money

This is such a fantastic design for kids bumps and grazes. These come in minimal cardboard packaging and look really cute.I swear by cool pads for my kids but I always have to wrap them in kitchen roll so that they aren’t freezing cold straight onto skin. With these you don’t need to because they have a soft, fabric side.It rules out the issue of the cool pad moving off the bump or falling off because of the sticky pads. They are a nice small shape and they double up as pad to cool kids temperatures.The only downside for me is that they don’t come in a resealable bag or container to store in the freezer so I will have to find one. Other than that, an amazing idea.

very thick and seem to stick very well. they seem to retain their coolness for well over 15 minutes - very impressed.

The product itself is very good. They are a good size for kids - or for small spots on adults - and they get to temperature quickly in the freezer, around 30 minutes or a bit less if you are in a hurry, as they are not very thick. I actually use them myself as I get 1-sided headaches and find them perfect to stick on my temple to help soothe the pain and raised temperature. It is a nice touch that one of the cats changes colour with the temperature.BUT it is ABSOLUTELY APPALLLING that the cat has MASK ON. CHILDREN ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO WEAR THEM! They are DANGEROUS and unnecessary for children, and TOTALLY AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE - yet both the packaging and the gel pads have that unspeakable image on them - aimed at kids. Absolutely disgusting.. I was going to let my grandkids use them but NO WAY will they ever even see them. I am horrified that this company saw fit to use this image. One star. Just for that.
