Have used this just once on a trip overseas via ferry and found it excellent. Massive capacity and it felt very secure when in place. We used it mainly to store clothes which were either in suitcases or plastic bags. No water or dampness perforated through in any case. Only minor quibble was that the zip on the storage bag broke shortly after 1st use but the bag itself is very good.

Was initially looking for a roof box and bars but this roof bag came up on the search. Really glad we chose this option, best bit it comes in a small bag so no problems with storage, easy to install and you can fit quite a lot of stuff in there. The thing I was most worried about, if it slid during travel but no movement at all 🙂. Can't comment how waterproof it is yet as we had decent weather for our camping trip for change 🌞😎

Great big bag but when it rained very heavily on one of our trips everything inside got wet 😲

I was sceptical when I bought this as it was quite cheap compared to the solid roof boxes but this bag is amazing it is sturdy waterproof and extremely spacious we fit at least half of our camping equipment in this including airbeds tents and paddle boards it fits about as much as the boot on my suv and is really strong and doesn’t leak or move at all when put in place. When everything is unpacked the bag folds down into a small carry bag to store away until we are ready to pack up and come home

Recently used on a very wet and windy trip to Skye - 660 mile round trip.Easy packed with a couple of cases and bags. Once secured to the car it didn’t move.When we arrived at Skye I wasn’t sure what to expect as it had been torrential rain and wind nearly all the way for an 8 hour road trip.Everything was dry.Would definitely recommend.

Did not fit without sidebars even though the instructions said it would, returned. Looked sturdy and weather proof

Used this a couple of times didn’t always feel so secure and lots of bits and pieces instructions not so clear. Quite big.

This inexpensive roof-bag came with an effective storage bag and non-slip mat, and it held all the things we wanted it to for our camping holiday, and the straps supplied kept it securely in place. On the journey back, in the rain, we wondered how it would perform: it was fine and kept all the water out. I'm not saying that would necessarily be the case in a massive downpour, but we were well satisfied.
