I bought these dowels to help in installing Formica on a countertop with contact cement. They were perfect for the job!

The actual diameter is 7/16, and not 1/2 inch. So, it's kinda like when you buy any piece of wood or lumber, a 2×4 isn't 2"x 4".Same here with these dowels.Quality is good and seller shipped on time.The dowels are fine for my intended use, it's ok they're less than 1/2 inch diameter. And they're way less expensive than at my hardware store. But if you need exactly 1/2 inch dowels, these may not be what you need. Overall a good product, though.

I use these for quilted wall hangings and they are very smooth and straight. No problem to cut them off to the length needed.

Product was good but i was shorted (8 of the 50 )dowels in package and had to go to home depot to fill the rest of my order. Made zero sense so next time ill just go to home depot.
