Great shoe but pricey.
These shoes are very comfortable and sturdy but not competitively priced. More color choices would be welcome.

Great looking shoe
They are pretty stiff and hard to break in but they are waterproof! Great looking!

Very stiff shoe
While the shoe looked nice, it was very stiff and uncomfortable. And I found it to be a short and a poor fit for my high arch.

Great hiking shoe!
I was nervous about switching brands but these are great. Comfortable right out of the box and fit as expected.

Comfy but not all they are cracked up to be
This is my third pair of keens in 3.5 years. My first pair finally gave out just recently. I tried the Explore on and loved them more than my terradoras. However I’ve only had them 3 months and the back heel is showing wear. So much so that i will not be able to wear them on the camino de santiago in September. I don’t believe they are a “long” trail trip pair of shoes. I will wear them happily for everyday. One other thing. The insole that they came with was basically nothing. I had to snatch a new set from an old pair of keen.

The laces!!!!
Okay If it weren’t for the laces I’d give these sneakers 5 stars. I have flat feet, and wide feet, they are comfortable and they fit really but the laces keep coming undone and I have to re tie them pretty often - which is annoying when you have to wear them all day!

Perfect fit and comfy!
My daughter kept asking me to walk with her after dinner, and my feet were killing me because I didn’t have a proper pair of walking/hiking shoes. I made the plunge and decided on these, and am so happy. They cover my heel, fit like a glove, and don’t squish my toes.I wear a 5 1/2 in women’s shoes but my feet are wider. They do not make this size in wide in any brand, so I always order a half-size up or order kid’s shoes because they typically have more toe room.I’m just excited that these cover my ankle so that I won’t get rub marks if I walk too long. Being waterproof is an added bonus!

Comfortable for walking-on the wide fit
Because they are on the wide fit I went for size 5UK (24.5 cm) and this was right. However they are medium and I have a narrow fit so I have a bit of margin around the ankles. Good quality, a little hard for the feet though hence the 4 stars.

Not my usual Keen product experience
We are a Keen family. There are currently five other pairs of Keen boots and shoes sitting by the door right now. We know our Keen stuff. This particular pair of Keens felt and looked different from what I’m used to. I wear a 10.5 women's in all Keen products, and I increase to a size 11 when I know I’ll be inserting a different insole or plan to regularly double-layer my socks for long treks. This size 11 was smaller and not as wide as the usual Keen product. Plus, there’s what looks like unfinished stitching at the top of the shoe (see pics). None of the Keen stuff I’ve bought over many years have ever looked like that. It surprised me to see this.I’m returning these. Keens always feel great right out of the box, but these feel stiffer, tighter (even though they’re size 11!), and just not right.

Better than expected
Got these for a two week walking/hiking adventure in Ireland and Scotland. Weather was wet and these shoes kept my feet dry and comfortable. Great for city adventures too, felt safe on slippery old streets. I wore these everyday - they are sporty and stylish, light and sturdy. My new go-to shoe for Canadian living and travel adventures near and far. Note: I did replace the inserts with a set of Dr. Scholl's inserts for a better fit ($11). Highly recommend these for waterproof shoe that will go the distance!

Sent me used and dirty shoes!!
Awesome fit and awesome shoe!! Seller sent me a pair that has obviously been worn. See my pictures. Very disappointed. I ordered these to wear indoors for my nursing job at the hospital!!! Very dirty. I expected a new never been worn shoe! I will be asking for a replacement.

A Comfortable Walking Shoe
This is my second pair of this model. I wasn't expecting to like when I bought the first, but it got hard to find suitable shoes for high mileage city walking during the pandemic, so I felt like I had to settle. Keens always fit me well, but I thought this pair might be a little too soft and bendy. As it happens, I liked them better than I expected to. The colour is pretty too.
