This is my first tablet and I didn't want to spend a lot so its good that this one is so cheap compared to the popular brands.Even though it is so cheap it still has all the functionality I wanted, and the build quality is good enough in my opinion. The setup is no more complicated than any USB device I have used, and the drivers are also available on the website. So far I have had no problems with this tablet and I couldn't be happier I chose this one.I have already customized mine by sticking labels on the express keys to make it easier to use. Some people say it takes a while to get used to using the pen, but I found it similar to using a mouse, except way more accurate.

This works as well as any Wacom I have used in the past. I'm no pro but I am a retired tech and use tablets like this for photo work and some digital art that I do as a hobby. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is that the first tablet I received had a bad pen in it and it had to be returned but on the second one it worked flawlessly. Huion's service department is excellent and helped me determine what was wrong right away. Just remember if you do have to contact them via email they won't reply until the evening in the US due to time differences, but they do return their messages.A few people mentioned they had problems with their USB plug. I have noticed that it is a little tight so I just plugged mine into an extension USB hub that I can turn off when not in use thus avoiding removing the USB plug in the tablet. The extension I'm using is the Sabrent 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub with Individual Power Switches and LEDs (HB-UMLS) available here on Amazon. Very inexpensive and very useful.

GREAT VALUE AND PERFORMANCE VERSUS WACOM. WORKS WELL WITH PHOTOSHOP CC on iMac Yosemite OSX!!!!
I needed a graphics tablet to edit and did comparisons with the Wacom tablets and Huion. The Huion is bang for your buck for 10" x 6" tablet work area. The pen is wireless and rechargeable via provided USB cable. The Wacom equivalent has a wifi/wireless option but the Huion tablet is NOT a wireless tablet so you have to have connected via USB cable. Pressure sensitivity is SPOT on and interfaces well with Adobe Photoshop CC with programmable buttons on the side. This is used on an iMac Yosemite OSX.

Glorified H610Pro (for now hopefully)
I now own this and have used my wife's Wacom CTH-680 extensively also so can look at the differences between the two. Also, let me preface this in the fact that I am in no way an artist (in the drawing sense). I like to work with motion graphics and VFX so keep that in mind as you read the review.Great tablet however Huion driver needs work. The 1060 driver will not map over 2 monitors (neither will the H610Pro driver from the web). However, you can install the H610Pro driver from the CD and get a much better configuration interface allowing the dual monitor feature (go figure). I tried this because the H610Pro specs and 1060Pro specs are identical except that there are an extra 4 unused keys and a micro SD on the 1060.Losses by using the H610Pro packaged driver: 1) Cannot configure for left hand (I'm a left hander but not a big deal for me) 2) Lose about 0.25" of top space only if the soft keys are disabled (once again doesn't matter to me as I use the soft keys). Gains by using H610Pro packaged driver: 1) Much better hot and soft key programming options. 2) Can map over dual monitors.Despite whatever driver is used, only 8 keys can be programmed despite the fact that there are 12 keys (Top 4 sets of keys are mapped together so it doesn't matter which side you push you only get one option. Bottom 2 sets are mapped individually to give a total of 8 key options.) I was hoping that Huion would be updating drivers in the future to bring all 12 keys into play and this may still happen.Hot keys are not a problem for left handers as they are stiff enough not to be accidentally pressed when drawing. I haven't accidentally pressed a single one yet even when I was testing it out to see. You would almost have to work at accidentally pressing one (if that makes sense). It came with 2 pens. One was AAA battery powered (battery not included) and the other USB charged. I actually prefer the feel of the battery powered one but like the light feel of the USB charged. In either case, they both work just fine and are comfortable to use.MicroSD card was recognized by the computer but really haven't used it. Don't expect to save large amounts of data on it as the interface is only USB 1.1 so data transfer is a bit slow. That might be fine for drawing artists, but motion and VFX use huge amounts of data.Basically, in general if Huion would invest a little bit of money in their software interface/driver they could almost put Wacom out of business or at least take over the hobby / Prosumer market and force Wacom into the high end professional niche. In my opinion, use the packaged H610Pro driver from the CD (not the web) until Huion improves the 1060 driver from the web. Driver install and uninstall were quite easy (Win 8.1) so don't be afraid to try different ones. The driver issue is the only reason I could not give 5+ stars for this tablet. But if you are only using 1 monitor, then it might not be an issue (although the web driver is still a bit clunky to use but functional.) Putting up with the few inconveniences of the driver is worth the $100 savings over the Wacom CTH-680. Wacom's driver interface and programming options are done professionally well whereas Huion's look more like a college lab project. I'm sure Huion can do better if they put their minds to it.

Functionality 5 finish 4
Good quality, could be better. It came with 2 pens, one battery and one rechargeable. Has an included 4gb microsd card that works, a little hard to remove. Has a low quality sticker indicating where the sd card slot is on the side. It also came with a replacement surface, a grid overlay, and a paper overlay. There is also an included pen holder and 8 replacement tips, with the removal tool, making a total of 10 tips. The buttons on the side are useful but they click hard like a cheapo plastic button. Loud click when pushed.Installed the driver first as noted in the manual and didn't have a problem. Gets the job done and I'm overall very happy with it.
