Not many songs to play so kids lost interest

I returned this "8 note" Steel Tongue Drum, expecting that the 8 notes equal do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do -- a scale in the key of C.Instead it had only 5 notes from the scale. How can you play music with only five notes from the scale? I really wanted to play "Yellow Bird" with the sound of a steel drum. It is misleading to advertise this product as "8 notes".I am trying to find an instrument on my electronic keyboard that comes close to a steel drum, but so far I have found none.
