This book is excellent in helping a very inexperienced MSW student field their way through their field placement. Although I found some of the information to be useless and repetitive there were a LOT of great pointers.

Very good book

What the description doesn't say is that this book is not geared toward grad students. The author's intended audience are very young (18-23) undergraduate social work students.I am a 32-year-old MSW student who has been working - in general - for the past 17 years. If you're a grad student, don't waste your time with this book.
