Best looking scooter around!
I've had my Maverick scooter for 6 years now, and it runs good as new. I spent countless hours looking for something like this because I had a special use for it: My driveway is very steep, and I needed something to be able to drive to my mailbox daily. But most cheaper scooters simply dont have the power to climb my driveway. The Maverick has climbed it over a thousand times with no problem I even have a video on YouTube showing this. The other main reason for selecting this scooter was the LOOKS. At the time, no other scooter looked anything like the Maverick , but now there are several cheap Chinese knock-offs that do look similar. If you look at my photo, you will see that I removed the big Captain's chair. I'm not so disabled that I need that, so I took an old motorcycle seat I had and fitted it to the Maverick . As you can see, NOW it's one slick scooter! I get compliments everywhere I go with this set-up. If there is an issue for some people with the Maverick, it's the size. This is NOT a fold and go scooter. I like to take it downtown for special events, but I must trailer it on a small trailer. The Maverick is 30 inches wide, which means it WILL fit through a standard door... barely. My point is that this scooter is really meant to stay put, either inside the house or out, but it's not something you're going to be moving around a lot unless you have a trailer. Would I buy it again? You bet I would! I'm actually surprised that the batteries have lasted as long as they have, and someday I'll have to replace them. But that too will be worth it to me. Bottom line: If you can use a scooter this size.. GET IT!

Tires
This scooter is great. Good speed and long range. The only problem is when you need new tires. You have to buy the tire and rim assembly together. $399.99 per wheel. Higher than my car tires. $1200.00 to do all three and I need all three. I've got about 600 miles on my scooter

Great scooter. Very well made.
I owned a Vita Monster off-road scooter before this one ($5,000). I was not satisfied and sold it. The Maverick seems to be a lot better! I ride it out in the forest and through a very sandy meadow. No problems. I use it to exercise my 80 pound lab. He loves it too. It appears well constructed. The front tube shocks actually work - as do the rear shocks. With most of the weight on the bottom makes it almost impossible to tip over - so far! Great scooter in all regards. The negative is figuring out how to transport it. It is 65" long and 32" wide. With 340 pounds of weight I will probably need a small aluminum trailer with torsion suspension to keep the bouncing down - maybe a Little Giant 7' trailer with torsion suspension.
