- RESCUE RED
- NOW IMPROVED TO 22½ FEET AT NO INCREASED COST! Since we introduced the RE 21 product, we have allowed for tying a water knot, leaving 20 feet of webbing with which to improvise a Class 3 rescue harness. Recent input from the field tells us that there are users who would appreciate some extra length to allow for the added girth of bunker gear. Rescue Essentials has responded by replacing the RE 21 with this - the new RE 22.5. In training we teach a number of things that can be done with a of 20 foot loop of tubular nylon. The problem is that when you tie water knots to make a loop, you lose about 6" - 8" on each end - totaling at least 12". So now you really only have a 19' loop. Anyone whose height exceeds 6' knows the difference that extra foot can make. To be sure you get the full use of 20', we give you that 20 feet plus one foot for the required knot, and an extra 1½ feet for very tall patients or for additional bunker gear girth if needed. RE 22.5 - Don't be caught short! Rescue Essentials uses only UIAA Approved 4300# Test webbing for these loops. Get the best, get RE 22.5 for your gear bag!
