It was actually more beautiful in person than the photos online. Phenomenal quality. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to use it at the Renaissance Faire this summer!

The drinking horn was larger than I expected and was higher quality than I expected for the price. I did have to polish up the brass with some vinegar and baking soda but it shined right up. The horn is very smooth and polished on the outside. The inside is coated with a clear epoxy like substance to protect and seal it from leaks. I washed the inside and sanitized it with rubbing alcohol and look forward to showing it off with my kit. It came with a nice leather holster that I can hang from my belt.

My horn arrived fast and packaged well. There is however a missing rivet in the brass band around the opening. The hole is drilled there, but that is it. I have fully rinsed the horn and washed it out, and have not found any leaks, and it is the perfect size to wear on a belt. It looks like it will hold just around a can of beer, which is good enough. There is a slight odor after rinsing it out, but I will see if that improves after a full drying time, or maybe it just needed sealed better. I'm not a horn expert at all, but this will pass for costume wear, but if it wasnt missing the rivet I would give it 5 stars for sure. I will probably exchange it and see if the new one comes in better condition.**Update** The replacement came fast, and complete. There is little to no odor with the replacement, although it is just a little smaller and thinner then the 1st one, it is expected when getting real horns. I've sealed it with beeswax and am ready to enjoy my new horn!

My husband and I had a Medieval/Viking themed wedding and I got the idea to use a Viking Horn as the bottom part of my bouquet. I found this piece on Amazon and thought it'd be perfect and it was! Beautifully crafted and sturdy - it held my bouquet perfectly! It was a bit awkward holding it but, that's not the horns fault. Lol

It arrived with a small puncture, difficult to see until I tried it and it started dripping. The package it came in was ok which it means this is how it was when shipped. Very disappointed.

Fast shipping and arrived fast, I got two of the same though both were not the same size/length. Not a problem as long they were both big and the quality is good.While both are polished and look superb, one however was cracked inside near the rim. The other had no defects. I do look forward to using after cleaning though bit wary on the cracked one.

I received my Drinking horn. Nicely packaged. It is highly polished. I'll be glad to put it to use ASAP. very deep curve so you can't put it into the holder with a lot in it, but it shouldn't be much in it by then anyways. LoL.Skal.

My friend put this on his secret Santa wishlist and loved it when it came in person. I guess you're supposed to drink beer from it? Not sure but that's what he used it for.
