It works!
The only problem is the noise level

Works but Noisy
It certainly does cool the room as promised but is very noisy despite being told Midea use different compressors that are quieter. Even the lowest sleep mode is too much. I now only use it to cool the room for a few hours before going to bed and then switch off.Useful feature that it will try to blow the condensate moisture out of the extractor pipe and out the window, not yet had to drain the system because of that.

It works but a couple of gripes
First of all it's important to say this has been an absolute godsend during this heatwave that we are currently having. It cools down a room efficiently and quickly so I can't complain about that aspect at all.It is noisy but I've never had an air conditioner before so I can't say whether it's any noisier than any others that are on the market. It's also heavy so be prepared if you are planning on moving it to different floors. There are casters though so moving it around on the same floor is not a problem at all. It's worth stating that at 25kg, this is a pretty standard weight for a 9000btu ac unit so all ACs are going to be around this weight.I do have a couple of gripes though:There is no auto "swing" feature meaning that the cool air comes out in the direction you set the louvre at and that's it until you manually move the slats again. Also, you can set the slats to raise/lower the height of the air coming out, however there is no way to adjust the air left and right which seems a weird omission.Lastly, the air seems to be set to be directed to the left. I.e. if you are sitting directly in front of the machine, you can feel the cool air to your left but not to your right. This means that if I want the cool air directed at a particular spot, I need to face the machine almost 45 degrees to where I want it to go and as stated above, there is no way to adjust the left right direction..Having said all that, I'm still loving this machine and having the ability to sleep in a cool room rather than a furnace, I'd happily buy this again in a heartbeat..

Cool comfort
This is an excellent air conditioning unit that is powerful and efficient. Cooled a 22 x 22 foot room with high ceilings in less than ten minutes. Highly recommended.

0 stars. Awful screeching sound.
The media could not be loaded. I would give 0 stars if I could - the unit was loud and made a high pitched "screeching" noise and vibrated roughly like a washing machine. Attempted to refund and they took their time - over 2 months to get my money back.

Useless when temperatures are above 30 degrees Celsius
Small coverage area. Noisy, Vent gets really hot, Heavy, and useless when temperatures are above 30 degrees Celsius.

Works but with a catch!
Firstly the unit does what is supposed to do which is why I give this a 3/5, the noise is ok as I used normal fans before which were similar in noise. What is frustrating about the unit is the P1 error which has been mentioned before. The lower water tank fills up hourly and has to be manually drained, the design of the unit puts the drain at the bottom centre at the back. This is gravity drainage so the only way to drain is by lifting the heavy unit up to allow the water to drain so it will work again. I am thinking of work arounds but it is a major pain and perhaps something that all people will not be able to do. If you have a drainage hole in the floor you will be fine, if not you will have to think of work arounds. For this money and the fact that it is advertised that drainage is not needed when using cool mode is the reason I give this a 3 and not 5. I will work around it as the weather has not been kind in my office but others may struggle managing this.
