Better than I thought too! These are buttery soft in your hands, but have a bit of a grip, so they are very sensitive. The length is perfect, but if you'd like them shorter, they are adjustable, with holes along one side already spaced for easy adjustments. They are a perfect length for my horse, so I can drape them over the horn and cue him with legs only, when desired.

The reins were quite satisfactory for the price. They were the proper length for dressage on my Arabian with a biothane Dr. Cook bitless bridle. When it rains, I don't worry about leather getting wet.

These are excellent. Simply made from nice quality materials. They have a great feeling in hand, firm but not rough or abrasive, just the right amount of friction for gentle steady pressure. The length is easy to adjust and I like being able to unclip a rein so easily. Great product.

I absolutely LOVE these reins! They are very well made, and the leather is not stiff at all! They have a very buttery and soft feel about them. I use them for trail riding, but also have done a little jumping with them. My mare is a 15 hh Quarter Horse and she can put her nose nearly to the ground with the reins on the longest length. Can also be shorted considerably for a good multi-purpose rein or for a smaller horse or pony.

These reins are very high quality leather! very pleased!
