Bought these so the wife wouldn't poke the childrens' eyes out when cutting their hair (she's proper dopey and has blade pointing in direction of kids eyes when cutting, so if they jerked their head, as kids are wont to do - eeeek!). Blade had a nice round end which is very safe. The blades are very sharp with a nice "snick" sound. Good purchase.

Round tips with dampener makes it a joy to cut my son's hair.For the first few times I've cut my son's hair I've tried to use my standard hair cutting scissors. They're very sharp and have a pointy tip. What stopped me from using them again is because he keeps turning his head around to have a look at the scissors and we've had a few near misses with him looking directly into the scissor's tips.What's good about these scissors are the fact that they're rounded tips. Not only that, it comes with a dampener as well so when you're cutting it does it silently so your baby won't hair it completely. I've got to say, I feel much more at ease and have less anxiety cutting his hair now with this pair of scissors. It also comes with a pouch and box for you to store it away safely.

Needed some new scissors so went with the child friendly purple pair! I'm not a hairdresser but my family seem to think I am. They're sharp and very quiet too. My partner asked me if I was actually doing anything because he couldn't hear anything happening. I haven't used these on my child yet but I've had a go at jabbing people with these and they don't hurt so they're very good. Very pleased I purchased these. I will probably get the thinning ones one day.
