LT tri shorts
Nice shorts with comfortable but non bulky padding. Medium were a good fit for me (6ft 1, 175 lb). The fabric is compressive but much thinner than I have seen on other compression fit tri shorts. Have usedCWX tri shorts in the past but could not find them again at amazon. Construction of the LG shorts looks good but too soon to say how they will wear over time.

Padding is very thin, returned them.
Bought these for my husband. He has a pair of the Garneau bike shorts & loves then. The ones I purchased are not the same. The padding is very thin. There is no way he could ride a bike & be comfortable wearing these. I had to return them.

Might have gotten a defective item
My 1 out of 3 shorts and go to shorts but maybe must have gotten a defective item. This is the only shorts that gave me issues in my left seat bone.

Good but not colorfast!!
The shorts are fine and work as advertised. However, on the pair I bought, the black dye was not permanent and colored me, my sink and the floor black after I wore and tried to rinse them. Must be a manufacturing issue since a previous pair did not have this problem.Be careful. Our white floor grout is no permanently stained black/grey because of this.

Faded to rusty brown color within 1 week
Severe manufacturer quality issue on this model. While fit and compression was good, the shorts faded substantially within 2 swims at the pool. By the 5th swim, it has already turned into a rusty brown color. I always hand wash my shorts after each swim, and all my tri shorts last at least last 3 to 6 months (used in the same club pool) before fading becomes obvious. Attached are pictures of the shorts after 5 swims at the pool.To fade into a rusty brown color within just few swims is disappointing. LG, you failed on this one.=== UPDATE====Reached out to Louis Garneau customer service regarding quality issue. They claimed that it was chlorine damage based on pictures I sent them (same as the two attached with this review). I just don't see how my other tri shorts can stand up to months of use in the same pool without fading but this LG shorts faded that badly within few swims. Come on, which pool doesn't use chlorine; and which triathlete train in open waters strictly. We spend most of time training in pools! The response from the customer service is most disappointing.

Better than I thought.
I like the length more than I thought I would. It's a little more stiffer than other LG products I've purchased. (More Lycra). Probably more compression on the run when I'll need it.

Great fit and functionality
These shorts provide good compression and the pad design does not chafe while biking or running. These are great shorts in the water and more importantly on land when the fit and comfort is out to the test.

Sizes run way small
Usually, I get Louis Garneau bike shorts in medium, but thought maybe I'd try some bigger ones, so I ordered Large. These Larges are way tighter than the mediums I've gotten from Louis Garneau in the past. Should have sent them back.... This is the first Louis Garneau product that I was not 100% satisfied.
