I really wanted a convenient accurate thermometer to use on my little ones. I liked this because it had the option of ear or forehead, so after a ton of research and reading reviews I bought it. I am so disappointed, because the readings are totally in accurate. when I got it I spent forever taking my temperature and then retaking it and it would change every single time. 10 readings back to back gave 10 different results. I tried both the four head and year but they both were in accurate. I read the instructions and check the batteries and I know I was doing it right. The readings it gave were in the ballpark of the right temperature, but I have a baby and need to know exactly what temperature she is running when she is sick, not a ballpark reading. Also it ran out of batteries fast and started making a terrible beeping sound. It is really inconvenient to try to set the time and to set it to Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. I finally did but it was such a hassle. All I can say is I'm still on the hunt for a good four head and ear thermometer. This one is not it.

Unfortunately this was a waste of time and money. We bought this because it was nice to have an infrared thermometer and an oral thermometer in a combined package at a reasonable price, but this was not what we hoped for. The infrared thermometer would not calibrate correctly and kept saying I was only 90 degrees (when we all know 98.6 degrees is a "normal" human temp.) The instructions were definitely written by someone who does not speak English (or were translated poorly) because they do not make coherent sense. I'm disappointed and will not buy from this company again.

We have tried the forehead function of the thermometer, and it gave different unreasonable readings on our child. So we decided to test it on ourselves, and similar phenomena occurred. We then tried the year function, it fared slightly better but still not perfect. I would say that this thermometer has large variation from reading to reading and inaccurate measurement. It might be able to give you a general picture, but it certainly has a lot to strive for.

I liked it at first, but the battery died way quicker than I was expecting. I used it probably ten times to take the temp, and within three months of it running in the background time mode or whatever, the battery died.

Terrible. There is no way to shut it off. Tried it out and did several readings and all we're different from normal to serious fever and my child wasn't sick. Same readings on me and my husband. Don't waste your time or money.

I give this 3 stars because it's only accurate when used in the ear. I tried scanning the forehead of 3 different people and couldn't get an accurate temperature.

It's very easy to use and works wonderful. I'd totally recommend this product
