this is a wonderfully made and functional product. I got the men's size 6 or small, to help stretch too tight boots and it works perfectly, plus the cedar smells really good. Also, if I could get several of these for all of my boots to help keep the shape and maintain freshness, and absorb moisture I would. The boot stretching does work and that is a nice relief.

Worked great....to the reviewer talking about width adjustment; learn to use a screwdriver. Width can be increased or decreased by tightening a screw.

These are my go-to shoe trees. I own many and they are exactly as described and anticipated.

Not a bad product just not as substantial as "Woodlore". Took a chance but they're not for me.

This was my second purchase of these shoe trees...obviously I think highly of them. You can't beat these for the money.

Originally I was skeptical because I have similar look pair that costs me $47 at a retail chain. When i received it, I compared it to the more expensive pair and except for one ventilation hole in front piece, it is feature for feature on par at about half the price. Usually you will find manufacturers will use a small piece of cedar or cheaper metal construction for the spring but I would rate this as a fantastic find since the entry level one are usually only a few dollars less without the features and construction. No negatives that I can see at this point.

Overall, pleased with this purchase. In some spots, the cedar was a bit rough but a bit of sanding with some high grit sandpaper smoothed it out. Easy to put in and out. The smell was pretty strong initially, so let them air out for a few days before using in my boots.

There are many, many options for such a seemingly simple item. I considered the cheaper ones but based on the photos, this appeared to be the best value for the money. I have 5 sets (3 in the photo) and ALL of them are top quality. No issues with rough areas or suspect built.The springs provide enough tension and are smooth after a few compressions. For my Allen Edmond Rouge 8.5D, I used medium. For the AE Buckstrand Oxfords 8.5D, I had to go to small.Oh, they smell fantastic too! Hope this helps.

The cedar shoe tree from Cedar Elements is a very good product. My shoes were a little tight on the sides and these helped stretch them out. I purchased this model for the adjustable sides. I found the adjustment screw on the side was just a regular wood screw screwed into the main body. I was worried that it might come out and when I tried to adjust it so it would be wider. My suspicions turned out to be true as I unscrewed it just a little to much and the whole side came off. I put it back together, but, I'm worried that one day, the whole thing might come loose if the hole becomes stripped. I'm going to leave it where it is now and hope to get a lot of years of service out of the product. It is still good, but, I would prefer to have an adjustment screw with something to prevent it from coming right out.

Great quality. Large just barely fit in my size 9.5 shoes, but they should keep their shape well! Would be nice if I could order medium ones on Prime and for the same price.
