Not a chafing dish
I should have read the description more carefully- these are not chafing dishes. They do not have the ability to put water in the dish and place put on top. I missed the return window. Bummer.

Brought it for when my power goes out l can heat up my food or heat my water for coffee

Gets too hot
This is the perfect size for a couple of packages of lil smokies in barbeque sauce, but if you use it with canned heat it gets lava hot. I tried experiments and the best way to keep food warm and tasty is by burning 2 or 3 tea lights under it. the Sterno, at it's lowest actually cooked a can of soup to boiling. It looks adorable. And is a must have for outdoor gatherings, but the tea lights blow out in the wind so I don't know.

Need instructions
This was just delivered to my house. But there are no instructions as to how to use it. Can someone please give me instructions? If not I will have to return it.It looks like what I need but I don’t know how to use it.
