Nice looking watch, not really a moon phase watch
This is a good looking men’s watch, that has some positives and negatives. It comes with a nifty felt case, instructions to set the watch, and a little screwdriver tool in the case to adjust the watchband clasp and fit.The watch came already set to my local time, although the am/pm was off, which was a good thing because then I had to figure out how to use all the functions on the watch to set it correctly. The watchband clasp has a little slot to pry up with the included screwdriver, there are no actual screws to turn, then it is easy to move the clasp up and down on the band to the right fit, press the little horizontal bar back in place, and done. The band itself has a nice textured leather feel to it.The watch looks good with nice colors. Handling it, it feels ... inexpensive. This is not negative criticism however, because this watch is very affordable and I don’t expect it to feel like watches that cost many times as much. It is a good value for what you get.The three small dials: two are a stopwatch, a second counter and a minute counter. The starting position was a little off and I had to adjust it. It took me almost 15 minutes to figure out by trial and error how to set the starting time correctly on the stopwatch, and the included instructions were not helpful. It involves pulling out the center crown part way and starting the watch at high speed and letting it cycle all the way around to close to the starting point, then stopping it and giving it little taps until it is just right, but not too far. Let it cycle too far, and you have to repeat the whole procedure again. Once the stopwatch is set, press the top button to start and stop it, press the bottom button to reset it.The third small dial is numbered 1 to 24 for military time, and this is also indirectly the am/pm function. This is also where the “moon phase” function is. I was puzzled because moon phase watches are not numbered from 1 to 24, and the phase on this watch kept moving completely around with every 24 hours of winding the watch minute and hour hands. Then I realized this isn’t actually a moon phase watch.A moon phase watch actually tracks the 8 phases of the moon: full moon, new moon, first and third quarters, waxing and waning gibbous, and waxing and waning crescents. This watch has a little graphic that rotates around each 24 hours and shows a picture of sun and moon on opposite sides, with some little stars in between. It is a cute little graphic, but it isn’t a moon phase watch. The included instructions were almost useless. They show graphics of several different types of watches in tiny print, and there is a tiny graphic of this watch with some minimal instructions and pointer lines in micro print. It is not super hard to figure out the functions of this watch by trial and error, but it should have better instructions in larger print, especially the stopwatch function and the “moon phase” function.Overall I rated this three stars. It is functional, looks attractive, and not very expensive, so a good value. The watchband and felt case are nice. I took off a 1 to 1.5 stars for the moon phase function that really isn’t a moon phase, and 0.5 to 1 stars off for the poor instructions and hard to figure out means of adjusting the starting time on the stopwatch. This watch pairs well with casual wear, evenings out, and can be worn with semi formal wear. It states on the case that it is water resistant to 3 atmospheres, so it shouldn’t be a problem if you’re caught in the rain or get splashed from time to time.I did receive this product free of charge, and this is a fair and honest review.

A good inexpensive watch
The most important thing about any watch is whether it keeps accurate time. This one does. The second most important thing is the clasp and fit. This one works pretty well. Though the clasp isn't my favorite style in the world, it's easy to adjust the band to fit almost any size of wrist, and the clasp is functional and easy to use.Beyond those points, it's all about aesthetics. This one is pretty good. It has a large but not oversized face and a comfortable band. It's obviously not a piece of fine jewelry, but it's nevertheless an attractive design. I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it is. Being accustomed to significantly heavier watches, I found myself often double-checking to make sure it hadn't fallen off during the first day I wore it. But no, the clasp always held--I was just expecting more weight than the watch actually possesses. It took some adjustment to get used to, but I actually like that it's not as heavy as my other watches. In addition to the watch itself, this also features a 24-hour clock and a chronograph. Both work just as well as the watch, so even though I seldom use those, they're always there if I should need them. The 24-hour clock also features a display in the style of a moon phase display, but instead of actually displaying the lunar phases, it shows you whether it's daytime or nighttime. This seems like a bit of a silly addition, especially since it's already surrounded by a 24 hour clock. It's certainly not providing any new information. That having been said, it does look good and seems to balance the overall appearance of the watch. The watch hands (but not the numbers) also feature luminous material, so you can read the watch in the dark. It's not the best luminous paint I've ever seen, and it seems to lose its "charge" fairly quickly, so I wouldn't rely on this feature, but it's nice that it's there if you happen to find yourself momentarily in a darkened room.On the whole, I think this is a perfectly good inexpensive watch. I doubt it'll ever become my "everyday" watch, but I'll definitely keep it around because it certainly has its place in my collection.

Very hard to read in low light conditions
This is a very nice watch for the price, but it is very difficult to see the hour and minute hands in low light conditions. Sure, the hands do have some glow in the dark material on the hands, but it is very little and very difficult to see. It would be a better watch if it had a light function for the face, so you could read the time better. Still, it keeps good time and looks great. It's better as a piece of jewelry than a timepiece. It also works as a stopwatch and has a full moon function, yet they, too, are very difficult to see even in lighted conditions. Maybe my eyes are getting old, but they are not that old. Not a watch for vampires!

Super thin and water resistent
This is a beautiful time piece. No other features, but telling time. It came in a cool clothe case. This is super thin and lightweight with a solid metal band. The band stays locked! My only complaint is it a little touchy when setting the time as the dials move too easily, beyond this, a great watch that came out of the shower with no water damage.

Great looking watch...
I like watches and have an appreciation for them. However, I am also don't like to spend $3,000 on a Tag or some other Swiss masterpiece. This watch looks like it cost a lot more than it actually does. The band is quite comfortable on and super easy to adjust the length of it. Mine came pre-set to the correct date and time too - nice bonus because some chronographs can be difficult, at best, to set. Black and red is a favorite combo for me too. The one thing I can see being an issue is the case. It seems raised a little and they tend to scratch really easy. It says it's glass, but I tend to be tough on watch cases. This will be for work or Church only. Overall, I really love the look and feel of it and think it's a bargain.

Watch and strap very good.
This was bought for my other half. He has pestered next for a new watch for a while. It’s not too big and clunky a watch, looks smart for formal wear or goes well with casual. The red detail on the hands makes it easy to read and gives it the stylish edge. The strap seems sturdy enough to withstand daily use. Very happy.

Chunky attractive looking watch
Mens Business Watches Military Chronograph WristwatchI have to say, I do like a watch that has plenty of knobs and dials to fiddle around with. This watch has 3 small dials along with the main watch face. There are 3 buttons on the side for various functions. The first thing that struck me about this was how heavy it weighs. I have never had a watch that feels as heavy as this before. For a watch costing just £25.99, there certainly appears to be a lot of watch for the money.First impression of this besides it's heavy weight is of how stylish it looks. The black display looks great with the red hands and time markers. Although to be perfectly honest, it is not that easy to read the time as red on a black background is a little too dark to read. The watch is big and chunky with a sturdy looking woven nylon strap. The Amazon listing mentions that this is water resistant to 30 metres. But in the same sentence states that this is not suitable for swimming or bathing? At 30 metres the watch would be subject to 4 bar pressure, so swimming or bathing would subject the watch to far less pressure than that. I suspect this must be a misprint on the listing and should be clarified? So is this water resistant or not?.. personally I wouldn't risk it. As this has a pop off back cover with a thin rubber seal, I suspect this at best is splash-proof, nothing more?At the end of the day, considering the above. For the asking price this looks great, the watch is very stylish and does appear to keep good time.CONTENTS:1 x Chronograph Wristwatch1 x Gift Box1 x ScrewdriverThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

A rather fine looking time keeper which would sit nicely on your wrist
This is a rather fine looking watch. Coming in black with dashes of red. It is a mere 240Mm long and 21mm the dial itself is just short of 40mm in diameter. The thickness of the watch is about 10mm which makes it sit nicely on my wrist without looking out of place. The face of it has been thought out well. Everything stands out without being in your face, so to speak. Twelve red number marks circle the edges of the dial and half of the hour/minute/seconds finger are also read. I find this makes it easier to see with only a glance. There are three other dials inside the main body. Two of them are a stopwatch, minutes (left) seconds (central) with the dial on the right showing you whether it’s day or night. There are three buttons/knobs, on the right side of the dial – Time adjustment (central) and the stopwatch controls (Top for start and stop – bottom for reset)I do have to say that, according to the online pictures of this watch the three dials should have their own red marks on them – minutes (left) Seconds (central) and hours (right) But the watch I have doesn’t have those numbers. It’s not a big thing, not for the usefulness of the watch as a time keeper, but if you want to use it as a stop watch you may have to do a bit of guessing.I nearly forgot to mention the rather fine looking ‘icons’ for day and night. This is inside the dial on the right, showing the sun, for daytime (obviously) and for the night it shows …? Go on, have a guess? That’s right, it shows a moon. There’s also a small dial which houses the numbers 1 to 31, which changes with the movement of the day. This is easy to read being black numbers on white background. The strap is metal and a fine mesh which gives it such a lovely looking quality whilst being remarkably flexibility. The catch clips on with relative ease and hold firm. Since I’ve worn this and gone about my daily business the clip has not shown any signs of opening, which is great. In all this is a watch which I think I can use the word elegant. It looks the part and sits well on my wrist without any issues at all.I have to say, although it’s not really about the watch, but it came packaged with perfection. What I mean by that is that it protected in it’s own hard-foam surroundings with a soft foam protecting the top of the firm, good sized box. It would make a great present as it is, boxed so neatly and no doubt with care.

Simple dress watch. Red on black is not that easy to read.
This is a simple dress watch but in a more unusual red-on-black design which looks effective from a distance but is actually quite hard to read from a practical standpoint. It would probably have been more useful if it had been orange-on-black due to the better contrasting saturation level of orange versus red.Size-wise it’s a fairly large diameter watch so is not suited for very slim wrists. It is also a bit heavier than it’s slim looks might suggest, with a lot of that being the strap. Sometimes you get these mesh-style metal straps that don’t add much weight to the watch, but this one does add a bit to the overall feel. A lot of people like that though, so each to their own.Functionality-wise, it covers the basics. There is a moon-phase indicator which is a nice detail but limited in usefulness, and likewise there is a stopwatch not that I know of anyone who has ever used one on an analogue watch before. But it completes the overall look of the watch. It has so far kept time with no fuss. The box that it comes in is fairly simple and gets the job done. Don’t go expecting some kind of glamorous hinged and cushioned number that you’d get with a more premium device.Overall, it’s a nice-looking watch and it serves its purpose. I’d have preferred orange over red given the choice. For the money it’s a decent inexpensive dress watch that you won’t mind using on a daily basis. How well it maintains its looks and survives bumps and scuffs I have not yet determined. For a price of c. £25 (at time of review) that seems good value to me.

Very Smart Watch!
This is a really nice, smart looking watch, and very comfortable to wear, very slimline and a super easily adjustable strap – no links to remove, simply release the locking clap, and slide to desired position, and lock again – easy! With watches, you can spend many thousands of pounds, or just a few quid. Lots of people tend to have a day to day watch, as well as perhaps an expensive dress watchThis Watch is a really nice item. It looks very smart, with a smart black (analogue) face design and case / strap, with inner windows for the different functions. The watch face is easy to read in good light, but a little trickier in poor. There is no in-built back – light. This is s a proper multi – function watch, unlike some with fake inner dials and buttons. These are (apart from the main analogue face) chronograph (m/s), 24h moon phase, plus date. The watch comes in a decent presentation box, with a clasp release lever tool, and instruction leaflet (which is a touch confusing, and tiny!). The strap is quite long, so even people with large wrists will have no problem. I had to remove links. This watch is certainly smart enough to wear with a nice suit, casual or for the office. Since the watch isn’t overly expensive to buy, it means it’s equally suited for day to day wear, and being water-resistant to 30m you won’t have to worry about taking it off in the shower either. In summary, this is a really lovely looking, very well constructed, excellent value watch that will grace any wrist, and definitely recommended. Looks more expensive than it actually is.I really hope that you have found this review helpful
