These socks are well made and of a good quality, especially given the price. They have a standard black foot and body with vibrant fun colours on the toe and heel areas.They're comfortable to wear, business and school suitable with a fun twist with the colourful toe and heel areas. The price makes them an affordable option for keeping your feet warm and looking smart at the same time. I would recommend these socks.

Comfortable light sock good quality and value.

These are comfortable socks, good for the price, hold their elasticity and shape even after washing several times.However, these are basic socks, which is reflected in the price. If you're walking a good deal, then expect them to go thin on the heel after several months. They also have a tendency to shed black specks which is a pain if you have carpet because your vacuum will struggle to pick them up when they quickly get tangled in the carpet threads.All in all, they're a decent sock though. A good bulk buy when you just need plenty of black cotton socks in the drawer for every day use. The toe and heel colours are useful to match them up after washing, and if one wears through it's no problem using pairs made of different colours...unless you're wearing them with sandals. And if THAT'S the case, your cred has already been shot and you might as well show you're wearing odd colours anyway. Enjoy.

I wanted something a little different to the usual black socks for everyday use. Let's face it, most socks will wear through at some point, some faster than others, so socks aren't exactly a long term purchase. Time will tell with these obviously but I love the stripey design and they fit my size 11 feet perfectly. They are soft and not tight so are a very comfortable fit for me, which isn't always the case with socks. The number of pairs (12) you receive is ridiculous for the price and if they are no worse wearing than any other sock I've had they will be an absolute bargain. They are not thick socks by any means and they are longer than your average black smart / work socks but so far am loving these. If they fall apart in 6 months then not so good, but so far there are none of the tell tale clicking sounds you get when socks are already straining at the seems.

I supposedly bought some of these a few weeks ago. Quite liked them, great value, so figured while I was at it I'd stock up with another 12 pairs... figuring that as they randomly wear, I could throw away the odd individual worn ones and pair up with whatever's left.Also figured having a lot of the same design would be easy to pair up after washing.So imagine my disappointment when I open up my latest delivery, check out the socks, put them next to the ones I bought a few weeks ago, and now find they're not exactly the same. The stripes are different. See attached photo.So I can't cross-pair them with the ones already purchased.When I check them against the illustration right now, these that have just arrived do match the illustration as it appears today. But I could have sworn that I did the same when I bought my first set just a few weeks ago, and I could have sworn they matched the picture at that time as well.It does bug me that it's telling me at the top of the page "purchased 2 times" .... I disagree. The two purchases would appear to be different products. If I'd purchase the same product two times, I'd be able to cross pair them.It's really annoying because now I'm going to have to root around a lot more to pair up the socks after they've come out of the washing machine. And as they wear out, I won't be able to mix and match the remaining good socks from the two different purchases.Basically I now have 12 sets of 2 pairs each, instead of the 6 sets of 4 pairs each that I expected to end up with.And worse still, although the patterns aren't completely the same, they are still similar, which is going to make finding the partners in the unsorted laundry even more difficult.The new socks also appear to be somewhat bigger fit than the previous pair. I've just tried one on and the heel on the new sock comes up beyond my actual heel. The original purchase a few weeks ago had them at the right point. Though perhaps these new ones will shrink in the wash... the original ones have had a couple of washes already.Oh well, at least at £9.99 for 12 they're really good value.My overall 3 star rating reflects that fact that you can't be sure what you're buying. My original purchase would have been 5 stars. But if you supposedly order the same thing a second time just 3 or 4 weeks later, and find they aren't the same thing you bought previously, that does somewhat undermine the value.Amazon really should indicate on their listings whether product pages are 'placeholders' for generic things. Not only can't you be sure of what you're buying if you 'buy again', but also it undermines trust in the reviews and ratings when reviews remain in place, but the product in the page changes.

Get these. They are fine, comfortable, reasonably hard-wearing and they stay up.

Well at under £11 for 12 pairs these certainly seem value for money. I am a size 10 and they fit fine are not tight and have plenty of stretch left in them - though that they fit me so well does have me wondering if they wouldn't be little loose on a size 6?My only concern is that they do seem a little thin which on the one hand is probably great if you want summer socks that are not too hot - but on the other hand does make me wonder just how hard wearing they will be, which I guess only time will tell.
