My husband says this is "WAY TOO BIG" for our tiny kitchen. But for $70, the larger size was less of a "pill" to swallow for finances.... you pay a lot, but you get a lot. On the other hand, it is only 25 servings mixed as directed.My husband does reffing and this can be stressful on his aging body. He saw the jar sitting on the counter and mixed himself up a big shake after returning from a series of games. He says this tastes pretty great. And he is a very picky person. I don't think he even mixed anything in with it ... just the powder straight.I just wanted to boost my protein intake, so I added two spoonfuls to my cereal ... and it tasted pretty good. There was no chalky taste or texture and nothing was left behind in my bowl.So it seems to mix well. Taste is on the sweet side (since I buy unsweet almond/coconut milk and my cereal is not sweet either .... the sweet had to be the powder).Vanilla was pleasant and went well with the cereal actually.Still .... this is super pricy!

It is important to choose a protein powder that we will finish each time we order one, as it has become so expensive over time. When I saw this BioSteel Recovery plus Protein, I was excited to give it a try.I noticed that in addition to protein, this powder has addition ingredients that can absolutely be helpful to workout recovery and gains. This is actually what made this protein powder stand out to me, the additional ingredients.The powder mixes up pretty well, though there were some minor clumps left that would not dissolve, though not a big deal.My issue here is the flavor. Generally, I enjoy vanilla flavored proteins, however, this one did not taste right to me. The flavor has a chemical taste to it which made it difficult for me to drink.Overall this is a good protein powder with a taste that I did not enjoy. I will try another flavor from this brand again.

My teenaged daughter that is! She’s a dedicated athlete and just may be a CEO one of these days. . . Like some other teens, she does not eat a lot of meat but burns mega calories as an active lady. We’ve talked about being sure she gets enough protein. She has been enjoying protein shakes and we’ve now tried several protein powders. This big bottle of Biosteel is naturally flavored and tastes like true vanilla. It’s also good with a spoonful of maple syrup and in our opinion best in a blender to mix thoroughly. One scoop contains a whopping 24 grams of protein, higher than most protein powders found at vitamin stores.

I'm sure many of us are familiar with the benefits of a protein supplement. This one is different because it also contains carbs. That makes it a good meal replacement or post-workout supplement. It is made from high quality ingredients. It tastes good and mixes easily in a shaker. I'm not sure that I would use this to replace my current supplement because it is so high in carbs, but it's a great product if you don't mind that.Thanks so much for taking the time to read this review. I have been consuming protein in two different ways as I try to bulk up. The first is protein powder and milk in a shaker bottle. The second is by blending it with oats, peanut butter, milk, banana, berries, and spinach. When I tried this protein powder in a shaker bottle with just milk, I had a difficult time getting it down. The vanilla taste is not very good and tastes very artificial. I thought since there is so much sugar in this protein it would taste better. When I blend it together with my other ingredients in my post workout smoothie it does not taste so bad. I do think this is a high-quality protein powder. However, if you hate consuming it due to the taste, then you might as well stick to something that you like. The number one thing someone should look for in a protein powder is something that you think tastes good since you will be tasting it very often. Overall, I don’t think I would buy this protein again due to the taste.

This is a great mix for getting a nice amount of protein for the muscles, 24g Per Serving, 38g of Carbs and other great ingredients for good energy and it also includes Digestive Enzymes to help process it well to avoid any stomach issues. They use a grass-fed protein isolate that is time released and it includes Leucine and Glutamine that help multiple things from the Brain to the Stomach.I got the Vanilla Flavor and it tastes great and mixes well. It’s also made clean and is NSF Certified. I would definitely recommend it.

I love it! This flavor is very good! I recently started eating healthier and I'm now drinking protein shakes so I decided to give this one a try and it is awesome! It does give you a weird aftertaste in my opinion, but it is definitely a good flavor overall. Mixes really well and quickly with water, tastes like a milk shake even if you just mix it with cold water.
