Spend the extra money
So let me start this off buy saying you get what you pay for lol. The mic with shock mount feels poorly made and cheap the shock mount is all plastic with plastic threading which will lead to strip out eventually. The pencil Condenser feels like good quality and has good weight to it. the mic clip for it also has plastic threading so no telling how long it will last. For $26 this isn't a bad kit if say, you want to record on a budget. you have both a vocal mic and an instrument mic to do so, however....the gxl1800 mic leaves alot to be desired as far as sound quality goes.. idk why but it pics up anything and everything in an environment with no rear or off axis rejection and needs to have very minimal gain being sent to this mic ignorer for the audio to be anywhere near usable. The gxl800 pencil condenser is much more usable and has a pretty decent sound straight out of the box with no EQ.my final thoughts:Even if you are on a budget I would say spend the extra 30-60$ and find something with better build quality and better internal components as the main mic is basically unusable. it might be good for like zoom calls.. but even that is a far cry for its sound performance. I kept the pencil condenser but I went ahead and threw the other mic and shock mount back in the box and into the trash due to how terrible it sounded.

Poor sound quality
The micro was picking rather the noises around than the instruments, and the cables didn't match the Focusrite plugs, one of the plugs could not be plugged in at all.
