The zopec batteries are a great advance over what was available less than a year ago. We get two nights at 9000’ altitude with the 8000. And it’s not so heavy that we can’t haul it up to our cabin that is off grid.

Brand new Battery connected to AC, become hot, but not charging.The only mention of this is in troubleshooting: discharge battery to reset.question: It is time to sleep, how many hours it will take to reset that large battery? Or should I ask how many days? And when I will sleep with my cpap now?question2: how frequently I will need to reset for this super battery?This can't be taken to planes, and unreliable in general, it seems

With all the storms coming through Nor Cal, I finally decided to get a real back up battery. After looking at all the options, I settled on this, based on the reviews and a very professional website. Well, months later, this was absolutely the right decision. I had three power out events, one for two days. The power meter was almost exactly what their spec sheet said. Now, I've contacted their Cust Ser for some answers on how to increase battery life and how to deep cycle the battery. Answers were within 24 hours, clear concise and easy to understand (thanks Ian). Buy this unit, you will not be disappointed.

After experiencing a power outage for several hours and not being able to use my cpap that night, I did some research and chose this Zopec battery backup. It is supposed to switch over from household power to battery with no interruption in case of another power outage. I charged it per the instructions and plugged my cpap in and it worked for approximately two minutes before it quit. Now it says it is charged but the red light that indicates it is usable will not light up.I contacted Zopec and they did reach out, explaining I needed all the documentation but that it should be under warranty. I e-mailed the receipt showing purchase date and order number, and a month into this, no reply.I am hoping that Ian will see this review and get in touch with me again about taking care of this issue, otherwise it is just an expensive paperweight and not worth purchasing by anyone. I would like to amend my review if given a reason.**After a few miscommunications between Ian with Zopec and myself, I have a new battery. I appreciate Ian working with me on this and the new battery.

I experienced two middle-of-the-night electrical outages within a three-week period and had my BPap suddenly stop. I stayed awake for hours, afraid to go back to sleep for fear of triggering an A-Fib episode. With the added threat of rolling electric blackouts this Summer, I purchased this battery, the only one I found that was appropriate for a BPap. Customer Service was outstanding! I consulted them multiple times and found them to be patient and helpful as I searched for the correct unit. The video presents easy-to-understand steps for setting it up. Because I have a heated tube and humidifier, it took a little trial and error over a two-night span to get it right. The instruction booklet is well written and was very helpful.

Worked great for 16 months, then dead and past warranty.

I will use this primarily as a backup power source for my CPAP machine. I like the battery capacity and the ability to charge other things like iPhone & iPad. Also like the fact that you can recharge using solar panels which I also purchased from same vendor on Amazon.

I used this unit for first time and did not meet expectations. Used humidifier and turned off tube heat and was down to 9% in one night of use. Wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. Want my money back.
