I purchased 6 copies as gift for friends because I am a big fan (no pun intended) of the pastor/author. I enjoyed the stories and analogies regarding the verse included for the day. Very easy reading with related scriptural references and suggested scripture readings for further understanding. YouTube includes many great videos from this pastor, most of his messages include the same stories which are retold in this book. Have several devotional but definitely among my very favorites

This daily Bible study is perfect! My husband and I are each doing a few days at a time independently and then discussing those days a few times per week. Easy to read, easy to understand, and easy to complete. I believe that we need to each be disciples of Christ and this book is a reminder of the role we must play and the importance of having a intimate relationship with our Lord.

I bought this because my Mimi suggested it. It is an amazing devotional and I will be sharing it with my family.

With over 1 million copies, it’s no wonder why it’s a best seller. The chapters are reasonably short making this a great table top book.I couldn’t put it down. It’s what I needed to hear, and live by. The of the greatest book about “following” Jesus I’ve ever read and much needed in the church today. This book is the real thing.

I truly enjoy the writings of Mr. Idleman, and am in the process of reading these book, which is set up to read daily, or in what way works best for the reader. I would think this book would very much appeal to a young or "yuppy" age audience......the twenty's and thirty-somethings, although I am older and love it. It enhances your seriousness of truly following Jesus, or making you realize/ponder if you're just a fan. I think it's a fabulous concept and hopefully after reading a book fashioned like this, one would truly desire to become a follower and not just a fan of this wonderful savior, Jesus.

If you have read any of the Not A Fan series you know what this book is about. The author breaks the fact down that following Jesus is not just knowing about Him. This is broken into three parts with 25 devotionals on each one.

This is definitely a help to one’s spiritual walk after reading the book. Each day provides additional questions and thoughts to consider.

One of the best devotional books ever! So indepth and relevant to the daily living of a born again follower of Jesus Christ today!

I saw the film on TBN UK and immediately search Amazon for the book and DVD series. My husband is reading the book at the moment over 75 days. Can't wait for my turn.

This is a great devotional with daily bite sized thoughts and challenges. I like the way it is written and have been encouraged to explore the bible passages it signposts more. Different from the Not A Fan book in a good way.
