Has a different use. Eating it is your personal choice
Roasted mitti lasts longer and retains its form while transporting long distances. It typically has industrial usage like cement making, processing ceramic clay, putty, plaster of paris, pottery, paint mixture, cosmetics and potting mixtures. It's use for oral consumption is a personal choice but there is no scientific evidence on the safety and benefits of eating clay, mud and chalk in large quantities. Consume in moderation but be a lil cautious especially during pandemic to avoid hospitalization n risk of virus contraction.
