Isn’t it China?
Looks great, but no country of origin anywhere on the item. My guess is China, since it has a Chinese design. Still, it looks suitable for tea, and it was not expensive. Good resolution on the birds too. Much sturdier than fine bone china. More like ceramic pottery, but it’s pnot too large.

Affordable Churchill Blue Willow Platter
The platter is just the right size for small-meal service (1 to 3 people). I decided to use my "good china" while enjoying quarantine meals (purchased a set of Churchill Blue Willow--dishes, saucers, teapot, sugar bowl--at Marshall's pre-pandemic) and I realized I was missing a serving platter. I'm not an expert, but the pattern is nice and clear. No rough edges and has the Churchill Blue Willow stamp on the bottom. I'm told that's the way to ensure you've got genuine Churchill Blue Willow china.

It is very pretty
It came in plain box not the actual teapot box.

It's GORGEOUS and made in England
I's stunned: I ordered this last Saturday and got it today, the following Tuesday. From England. I love that this authentic-designed piece is made in England instead of China. I've examined it carefully and am impressed with how crisp the images are: you can make out the 3 little guys on the bridge and the guy on the boat. The birds are clear. The elegant pattern on the top of the pot matches the cover. The individual tree design shows on each side of the spout and the simple geometric pattern on the handle complements the teapot. What I've seen in less expensive pots is that the pattern is not perfectly aligned with the edges, making it look skewed. And often the images are smudged. I can't decide if I'm going to display this in my china cabinet or use it every time I make tea...which is quite often. My husband is from England but he prefers coffee, so I'm the tea-drinker in the family.Aw heck--I'm going to use it tonight!
