I will be upfront and admit I am 62 years old, never taken an art class and am attempting to paint, with only watching a few YouTube tutorials to get an idea of what to do. So I probably am not reviewing these canvases with the same critique as others with some experience under their belt, but I found them to be beginner friendly and I was pleased with my results!

These came on time and were packaged appropriately however they were poorly constructed. The wood used to stretch the canvases over wasn't smooth so there are huge dents around the edges of some of the canvases. This makes them look cheap and I'm considering returning them but it wouldn't be worth the trouble. They do come individually wrapped which is a plus. They were clean and white but I would still recommend priming them before painting. They are a convenient size for practicing, I only wish the edges were smooth so that I would be able to consider hanging the artwork once completed.

I had my employer place an order of these for a program. Thankfully, I didn't have all the spaces fill AND I had a couple of other canvases around or I would have had a major problem. 4 out of the 10 are unusable for a program (see photos)...the webbing can be seen. Very disappointed that these were packaged and sent out like this!

I provide free painting (Acrylic) classes for seniors in my town. The low cost and excellent quality of the U S Art supply canvas products is "perfect" for this project. They love the classes and the material is perfect for what they paint. The U S Art Supply products are just what the beginners need at the cost anyone can afford...thanks! I will order many more of their stretched canvas in different sizes.

These are okay for what I am using them for, but wouldn't be good for any serious art. Thin, corners are cut and glued fairly rough. I put a coating of acrylic on one, and when layering the next, the first layer peeled off. I am going to try washing them and see if the paint will stick. Description says they are gessoed, but didn't work for my use. Hopefully , I can make them work.

These are kind of cheap and porous...... the canvas itself is very thin and it's tough to get paint on SOLID... meaning, there are a lot of little holes where the paint doesn't fill in (crevices within the texture of the canvas.) Not a big fan of this brand.... I've never used it before ........ it's OKAY for just hobby use, for kids or just messing around... not great if you're serious about displaying your work.

Great deal for bulk student or beginner grade canvas when you really don't want to spend alot of money on supplies just starting out. They aren't the deep 2" ones. These have a 3/4" deep side. They are fine to hang as is, but for a nicer piece, I prefer the 2" deep ones for a better overall appearance. These are great for the practice I need. Neatly packaged, individually wrapped, pre-primed with gesso and are as good at the one's I have bought for twice the money at Michael's. They are the same quality. These were packed well when shipped to ma and were not damaged. They work just fine for hobby painting or trying new things.

I ordered these canvases for my kids birthday parties as they were both having "Little Artists" themed parties. I stuck a large alphabet letter sticker (the first initial of each child's name) on each of their canvases and let the kids paint the whole canvas with poster paints. When they were all done painting, we peeled the letter sticker off to reveal the white underneath and the kids loved them! Each child was sent home from the party with a second (blank) canvas and some paintbrushes as a party favor. These were great and I loved being able to order them in bulk and have them delivered right to our doorstep so I didn't have to go out shopping for party supplies. I will buy these again.
