Head is fine / handle was junk
Axe cuts fine. Handle was junk. One swing, hit wood handle broke. Should have seen poor grain orientation when buying. Store replaced the handle with good hickory handle at no charge and I installed. They did not have another wood handle axe in stock. Axe now does just what I need it for. Collins / Truper need better quality control on their wood handles.
