Quality MMA Shorts - Blank No Logo

First off , I'm an MMA , BJJ nut ! I also get super excited when I discover an exception product especially clothing , whether it be a t-shirt, pants or shoes that are made well, that look fantastic and most importantly fit perfectly , the way a well made great looking stylistically fashionable garment should .That said, you'd usually assume and rightly so , that the previously mentioned high qualities would naturally demand an equally high price , no ? Well , let me set the record straight , these shorts are the best shorts I've ever seen or owned, and I grew up working in my families sporting goods stores for over ten years . I've been an enthusiastic athlete my whole life, skate boarding, soccer, boby building , cycling ,boxing , BJJ, running and surfing , and had the necessary gear that's worn accordingly.I must repeat myself here because these shorts deserve the repetitive highlighted mention of excellence I feel , also I couldn't wait to leave a review after trying them on and giving them a serious going over , I've only ever left a few reviews in the 8 years or so that I've been an Amazon prime member ,so there's that.I'm not an employee nor am I being paid for this review, I'm just spreading the well deserved praise that I feel is necessary in todays climate of "expensive junk " that keeps circulating throughout the retail clothing market .

I ordered these shorts because 1) blank, no logo 2) much of the buyer feedback was that they were too long for them. I was looking for longer shorts for MMA because I am tall guy and these are a perfect fit. I am happy with the length, they come down just below the top of my knee, if you are under 6'2" you may think these are too long unless you like them that way, which I do. They run true to size in the waist, I wear a 38" and these fit well, not too snug, (definitely not too tight on the gentlemen) not too loose. There is a double velcro system and a drawstring if you like them tighter.I have not rolled in these yet but the fabric is sturdy and seems durable, and there is a 4" slit on the outside of each leg. The quality feels comparable to other "name brands" that will run you $50-$70 dollars to be a walking advertisement.I bought these for function and not form (except I wanted them long), I would like a slightly wider waist band, these have about a 2" waist band. I really like the grey ones, I got the black ones too but not too wild about the sheen on the fabric but its a minor detail and these are for the mat, not the club. I really like these and will buy again.

I purchased these shorts for JiuJitsu. I'm 5' 11", 172 with a 32" waist and these shorts fit well. I've rolled in them about 8 times now and they've held up well. I haven't seen any stitching coming lose. They allowed me nice freedom of movement and the material feels pretty soft. They can be cinched down well so that they don't slip down. Also, they don't smell like the mats yet, which for me is a bonus. Only caution that I have is to make sure the velcro fly and waist band are fully secured before washing. The velcro is very strong and will snag everything in you washing machine.Update - These held up for 2 full years before they really started to break down. The velcro on the fly started to deteriorate after many washes and hard rolling. The fabric remained soft and the stitching held fast. If I could add a 6th star I would.

For the price, these shorts are great. I like the simple black design, The material is very stretchy and a little heavy for a synthetic, but not so much that you notice it while working out. The stitching and seams are well done, clean and strong. I ordered a size 36 and they fit a little loose. If they made a 35, they would've fit perfect. So if you know you will be cutting some weight pretty soon, you might be better off getting a size smaller than you normally wear. The only drawback I have with these shorts is with the inner waist band. There is a rubber friction band that presses against your waist to help prevent the shorts from sliding. Normally this feature is found in military and dress pants to help a shirt stay tucked in. I found it a little uncomfortable at first but quickly forgot about it while training. The rubber waist band did come in handy to hold my phone and wallet, due to the lack of any usable pocket. There is a small pocket attached to the inner waist band which can be used to hold a few bucks or a car key. Other than that, these are great shorts.

I got a 30 fits great. Hair sticks to it and its hard to get hair out of it I have pets with white hair. A little heavy for my liking but very durable. Good length, and no pockets that's awesome you don't need pockets on fight shorts. Good overall purchase in my opinion.

I was shopping for new Krav Maga shorts and bought these along with similar products from RDX and Elite. This pair was by far my favorite.Pros:- no branding- triple stitching in high stress areas- the entire bottom hem has round piping which should help the hem last longer- rubber grip in waistband will keep rash guard tucked in- high thigh cuts and stretch inseam for full range of motion- thick fabric looks like it will last- hidden pocket for a mouth guard- drawstring in waistband for more custom fitCons:- thick fabric might absorb sweat more than brands made of thinner material- fabric has sort of a satin sheen instead of a totally matte finish

Update 4/24/17: Got a white pair because I liked the black pair. 3 stars on the white pair because they don't match the picture exactly. The crotch is black as pictured but the trim around the edges (bottom of the legs & leg slit) is black. I will keep them cause they are for training but beware the white are not as pictured.Fitment is spot on. I am a 34 and they fit great, a little longer than expected. They would get 5 stars if they were a little shorter or the slit went a little higher. I have to pull them up a little when practicing high kicks in MMA.
