LawsonProfessional Soaker Hose - 50 Feet

Based upon reviews here, I expected a (finally) high quality soaker hose -- which, for the high price, it really should be. However... the hose ends are not solid brass as described - they are lightweight, thin, and plated. I have better solid brass ends on hoses I paid 1/4 the cost of this one. The hose itself is extremely stiff. It required two days laid out straight in the August sun to finally lose most of its tight coils. Although initially the water weep pattern was uniform from end to end with the 50' hose I purchased, this changed after a couple of weeks of use, when the hose discharge became quite erratic throughout the length.And finally, after three weeks of use, the hose, for no apparent reason, developed a huge leak about 3 feet from the closed end, rendering it useless and flooding that section of my garden. I will cut off that three foot section and put on a new end to see if that failure was just a fluke, but I am not at all optimistic. I would not recommend nor buy this hose again. Pretty much a complete waste of (a lot of) money and time, IMO.

The proverbial "If I could give it zero stars, I would..."The hose snapped in half on its maiden voyage, while simply uncoiling it and laying it out on the ground.If there is a more brittle hose than this on the market, I've never come across it. Not a good quality to have in a soaker hose.Not recommended.

very sturdy and resolves my problems where I used to buy one every month or so; even water flow from one end to the other is really appreciated.

Fantastic hose and quick delivery. Best soaker hose on the market.To avoid cap end from bursting attach a small hose at end of hose run.

Seems like very good quality soaker hose. Super thick, hoping it holds up with our varying water pressure and brutal summers.

This hose is what I have been looking for! Finally, a hose that works for soaking a section of my yard with new planting of shrubs and trees. Thank you for a superior product!
