A number of reviewers mentioned defects with the chains they received and/or that their chains couldn't be real silver because they tarnished. The chain I received is perfect, without any imperfections, very shiny and sparkly. beautiful, and marked as 925 silver and Italy. As for tarnishing, I might expect it to tarnish if it is real silver. The people who claimed it couldn't be real silver because their chains tarnished are misinformed. A quick Google search will reveal many articles explicitely explaining the chemical reactions of air, skin, sweat, and water that cause silver to tarnish. Rhodium or gold plating will prevent silver from tarnishing, but might eventually wear off and then tarnishing will be noticed. That's why there are many silver cleaners and polishers on the market. I've never let the tarnishing issue keep me from purchasing and wearing silver. Silver is affordable and beautiful.. This chain is gorgeous!

This necklace is super shiny and sturdy. It has large clasp and is easy to take on and off.

The media could not be loaded. I have sweated, shower never taken it off. Still as shiny as the day I purchased. It has not turned black, green etc. Real sterling silver stays shiny for years P.S. the cross pendant was purchased separately.

This silver rope chain is amazing. This is my first sterling silver jewelry. It shines beautifully! My only issue is the presentation. It came in a little plastic bag with a little box. I will suggest for the seller to put in a jewelry box. I give this review 4 stars because of the terrible presentation. The silver rope chain is beautiful. I will definitely be purchasing a bigger rope chain in the future.

My Fiancé loved his gift that I got him for Father's day. He was speechless.

I bought this as a gift for my son. It was to be his first piece of real jewelry. He had wanted one for a long time, but I wanted to be sure, so I held off until his sixteenth birthday and planned a special unwrapping moment. I wanted it to be memorable. He opened it, LOVED it, and I put it around his neck and the clasp broke off in my hand. He never even got to wear it. It is memorable moment. It was so so disappointing. I will say, the necklace was beautiful & perfect for him, he loved it, until we tried to put it on him. I would say that, if you buy it, be aware and give yourself time to return it if it comes with defects.

3.3mm 28inch looks nice. solid. good weight at 26 grams yet not too gaudy. pendant fits nice. im a big dude and anything smaller would seem effeminate and anything thicker might look silly?... happy camper.
