Not heavy duty.
Heavy duty yellow paint is about all that’s heavy duty about these. They trip with any single power tool turned on my shop vac trips it. Pretty much useless might run a computer sor something but not what I was looking for.

The power strip you didn't know you had to have
As far as surge protecting power strips go you might think they are all the same - trust me, they are not. This is an excellent surge protecting power strip, and a good value at the price. The power cord is long enough (this being too short is a common complaint) and the LEDs are bright giving the owner a clear indication of the current status of the trip. There are not complaints but just a couple suggestions to inch this towards perfection and that would be to improve the mounting tabs with more robust materials - mine have not failed mind you, but they do feel not quite as robust as the rest of the product. Also if the paint was reflective that would be a help when trying to locate the strip in darkness while using a flashlight. I will be purchasing more of these in the future.

fire hazard and hazard to equipment
I was in the process of plugging my computer into the surge suppressor when it made a loud noise and there was smoke. This surge suppressor is a fire hazard and could damage appliances.

Excellent and useful product
The best feature is the unusual yellow color. I have several power bars in the computer room and some of them are plugged into a UPS. I don't want anybody plugging inappropriate things in there (a vacuum cleaner, for instance). The UPS-connected ones are marked but people are a lot less likely to use a bright yellow one. Sturdy construction and built-in cable guide are a plus.

Safe way to cook with a heavy duty power surge protector.
This product is really worth it. It’s a strong power surge protector that can handle various electronics and other devices on that one strip. I have various kitchen products on that plug and it didn’t break my main power line. Great product.

Great cord!
This heavy duty cord was perfect for my uses! I have attached it to the back of my small appliance cart. It is a sturdy cord and just what I need!

Does the Job if you don’t care about mounting.
Was ok - the mounting screw area was less than stellar. Small holes, and not that deep so it kept falling off the mounts.

This is very useful. I bought this to extend an outlet to my desk. It's very thick and sturdy. It worth every penny. Would definitely buy again.
