~~ Bring out the artist in your child ~~
Our 9 year old daughter absolutely LOVES this book! BUT the listing says from preschool up. Isn't she too old? Nope! Of course a preschooler could use this book but unless they were a budding artist, not sure how much they would really get out of it. Now admittedly our 9 year old is no artist and that is partly why we purchased this as her art skills do need some improving. As she chooses which page to complete, I am trying to encourage her to draw to the scale of the picture already present. For example, on one page there is a young girl holding some strings and the instructions tell you to add balloons. Well, the first attempt resulted in what looked like marshmallows on sticks! Today she needed to draw an octopus so after seeing her first very small attempt we did some research and found her a book on the Kindle about the octopus so that she could draw something similar and to scale.SO yes, you can certainly just hand this book to your child and let them doodle/draw whatever they wish OR you can be a little more in control and teach as they go. Once the drawing is complete we are also encouraging her to color it in using even more of her imagination.Large, thick pages with plenty of space for creating. LOVE IT!

Super fun for all ages! Let your imagination and creativity loose!
My daughter has several doodle activity books and they entertain her for quite some time. I bought this one as a gift, but my daughter had a black and white version of this same book. I like the color edition better. Love that is creates imagination and creativity of all ages. Gift is for 7 year old.As an adult, I even enjoy doing a few activity pages with my daughter. Super fun!!!!

Prompts and Thoughts
I’m so excited to use this for my journaling. Some days, my anxiety is so high, I feel like I can’t even choose a pen to write with. It’s on those days, I know I have this to use a pencil on, so my pen color is irrelevant.

Can't be used as a coloring book
This was originally purchased at a local BN store by my husband for me, four years ago, while I was in a hospital. It was thin papered, greyscale, and lots of fun to doodle on and color (as a coloring book). So my daughter, 11, and son, 8, wanted it recently and I popped on Amazon and bought them one. It arrived today. It has thick pages with colored images. My kids don't want it....it will be returned and I'll be searching for the b&w version!

My daughter loves it
My 11-year-old daughter bought this with allowance money, and has really enjoyed it. She's kept a sketch book for the past couple of years, and is always drawing on scratch paper around the house, as well as doing other artistic projects. This book adds prompts: she flips pages until she finds an idea that sparks her imagination, and then draws based on the prompt (words and a partial picture). I'd recommend this to anyone who wants that kind of activity.

Hiarious and imaginative
I can't wait to pull this book out to show my son when he's an adult how very very twisted he was as a child! At last, evidence!!Seriously, this is so much fun! My son is wildly imaginanitive and hilarious so a book like this is right up his alley. I literally laughed out loud over the things he did with this book. It's a hoot.

Already own Oodles of Doodles
I purchased Oodles of Doodles a long time ago (years) when my son was young. Based on the cover of this book (Do you Doodle), I thought it might be too young for him (he's 11 now), but it is great. The original one had a lot more pages, but I knew that before I purchased it. At some point, I will probably check out the Halloween and spooky books, too.

Great fun
My daughter had a doodle book by the same author when she was nine. She had great fun filling in the doodles and the results are hilarious to look at now that she is sixteen! The book gives children a half-finished picture and a cue to complete it - e.g 'what can you see through the keyhole?' 'What's inside the bag?' and so on, leaving it up to them and their imagination to complete. It was good for my daughter (at age nine) because she liked drawing but had trouble coming up with new ideas for what to draw. These books provide the initial idea to get the child started.I recently bought 'Do you doodle?' For my daughter as a joke present because we'd been looking at her old doodle book and she's actually found it to be good for stress-busting in between exams etc! My younger children have now claimed it and have had fun too.

Good for children and grown ups!
My 6 year old son had this bought for him as a birthday present, the doodles are fun and allow for a lot of imagination with a nice mix of easy and more detailed pages. As soon as I saw it I wanted one as well! We now have a lot of fun drawing together and comparing the doodles in our pads, its great to see the different ideas we come up with on each page!

Great!
I'm 17 and bought this book and the other book 'Oodles of Doodles' for my friend since we both love to doodle and often scribbled all over schoolbooks and work so I bought this for myself and the other one for her birthday and we both love it! Spent loads of hours just having endless fun just doodling and doodling.

Fun, Fun, Fun!
This is a great book - it is big in size, thick, very good quality and the doodles are very well drawn (or rather partly drawn as the idea is for you to complete them or use your imagination to add to them). I also like the fact that the pages are perforated and can be removed easily. Great fun for all ages!

great gift
My daughter has just started school and is invited to lots of partys, I bought a pile of these (when reduced) and some coloured pencils, dont think I would pay full price but it is a great book, a bit different to a standard colouring book, parents all seemed pleased as a colouring/drawing book will always come in handy
